La Preferida Mexican Restaurant

I came to this place on a recommendation from a friend, so I was expecting something good, but unfortunately, this place didn't quite meet my expectations. The tacos were not very flavorful. The tortillas didn't have that wonderful home-made flavor that I was hoping for. As for the meat, it wasn't nearly as juicy as it should have been. Even the toppings on the taco lacked flavor and freshness. I ordered a torta, a type of Mexican sandwich. I've had some mind-blowingly good tortas before and this one didn't come close to those, but it wasn't bad. I would have liked the bread to be crispier and more flavorful, but that's just a personal preference. I won't be going back, but it wasn't bad enough for me to say don't go. If you've never had authentic, homemade Mexican food, you might find something that you like there.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. We had a beef Burrito California, beef Chimichanga , Carne Asada taco, and Tacos La Preferida. Prices and portions were great and the food was delicious! Will definitely be ordering again soon.Food: 5/5

Food came out cold and dry my order never came out only that if my wife and kids after 15 min I was able to flag down the server who after me asking please take my food of my bill she said no ur food is almost done I told her kindly I came ti eat with my family not to eat alone she never offered a solution so I said I will pay the whole bill I just letting u know I'm not happy 87.00 pluss dollars for 3 drinks 2 waters 13 tacos 1 shrimp cocktail very disappointing will not return and I like to support local but not this guys sorry bad experience period only reason for my review was the fact that they point blank dint value me as a customer but more of a nuisance for coming by and spending my money

Delicious food, incredible service. We were seated immediately and had our chips, drinks, and food in front of us within minutes! Very fun atmosphere and friendly staff.

The food was horrible and to top it off the torta de barbacoa barely had any meat and had more onions then anything!!! I loved coming to this place but after today I won’t be back! Also when I call to place an order in advance they never answer the phone!

Absolutely fabulous unexpected authentic Mexican food. Service was terrific. I ordered coffee and a beautiful tall mug of coffee was placed on my table very quickly fresh and hot. The food came very very quickly as well. And it happened to be $1.50 taco Thursday which was another unexpected treat... Will absolutely need to go back to sample some of the other food. Clean, easy parking, great service, tasty food, absolutely must give it a try

Horrible experience overall. Rude staff, and food wasn’t even all that. Having to look for a waitress whenever we needed or were missing something. Who the hell chases after their server? apparently you do here . Will not be returning.

Good service. I enjoyed three hot sauces and the limes. Food was okay. Not great. I will not go back.

The food was delicious. The music inside the restaurant was a little too loud for us, but we did get used to it after a while. The servers were friendly and attentive. First let me start by saying the food was really good. But that's the only good thing. The waitress was the worst I've ever had. My boyfriend and I were about to order but I needed another minute to decide. So he told her what he wanted and I said just 1 min. She said ok I'll be right back. She didn't come back for 10 minutes and then 5 min later to our surprise his food comes out. She left and I called her over and asked about why she put his order in and I don't have my food. She says oh well yours will be out very quick. 15 mins later I finally got my food. And she left and she never came back to our table. I had to go to the manager and ask for a box and a drink. I then tried to explain the issue and he just srugged it off. I am super disappointed because the food was really good but will not give my $ to this place again
