Lab Corporation

I set up on appointment on LabCorp's website for 12 pm. I was taking a standard blood test for a wellness checkup, so I had to fast for 12 hours previously (so I was already feeling weak and queasy). I drove 30 minutes to this site from my workplace on my lunch brake to have this simple, quick procedure done (along with my wife). Walk up to the door - sign posted: "closed for lunch from 12 pm to 1 pm. sorry for the inconvenience." ... okay, so why did you let me schedule an appointment for 12pm if you knew you were ALL going to lunch at 12? I wish I could give this place a 0 star value for complete unprofessionalism. I had to waste all that time, fasted for 12 full hours, and made 30 minute trips just to see that stupid sign. Thanks a lot Brookwood LabCorp.

Horrendous experience. Parking is $4 and you have to walk a long way through a maze to get there with no visible signage to aid you along the way. I could hear the staff chatting and joking in the back meanwhile myself and one other patient were waiting to check in. Mind you there were only two total patients there and the other patient had been waiting an hour. The receptionist had a bit of an attitude and seemed to have great difficulty interpreting the lab order I brought with me to my appointment. After my (stat) labs were finally done I left. My doctor never received my results!! I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a lady to have them resent, again with great difficulty. After all this two of the three labs were not even done!!!! Save your time and effort and go somewhere else. Their incompetence cost me hours of my time and required another lab draw anyway.
