I am a divorced father who used Randal Smith and his staff attorney in 2015. It is difficult to write this post as everyone post divorce wants to turn the page. The customer service and support through the marriage dissolution was exceptional. That said, I have not been satisfied with the work product from Lake Harriet Law Office. I executed a stipulated agreement after several edits, but several parenting schedule areas were left poorly defined, including holidays. I have had to expend great time and resources after the fact with my ex wife and her attorney to re-interpret the document drafted by Lake Area Law Office. Good work, yes. Great work, no. Who ever you work with, make sure you graph out the entire next year of your agreement (without counsel present) and work through all the definitions, holiday and school overlaps, and look for potential conflicts. Taking a half day to issue spot pre-signing will be time well spent! Thank you for listening.
