Lake Sahara Apartments

I’ve lived at Lake Sahara for three years now and its been great!! The best part of the property is the office staff. They are quick to respond. Marisol is awesome!! She is bubbly, kind and understanding. The office staff Marisol is the reason I’ve continued residence with Westland. Not all properties have a staff who cares like this property. Clean property, no pests. The only improvements I would make to the property is the laundry rooms and dumpster areas. The laundry equipment needs upgrading and the laundry rooms need more security. The dumper areas attact the homeless. But overall would recommend to friends.

Marisol is so sweet and caring and even went out her way for me, Carmen on the other hand is disrespectful,greedy, and needs to step down and need some training I wasn’t going to say anything but this lady should be fired there was a terrible storm that absolutely recked the whole complex the storm flood my apartment and actually busted my window there actually articles about it the flood and storm wasn’t her felt but her lack of action was on the other hand in general it’s nasty trash builds up not there fault but it’s nasty my ac kept breaking down they don’t fix thing the rent is cheap for a reason it was great while it last just just beware you will have to wait for WEEKSSS to get something fixed ac doesn’t work they will give you a portable ac you don’t matter to Carmen and homeless and trash will be everywhere some of it is out of management control but there behavior is and don’t go to the regional manger she is useless too but if you want to any help talk to Marisol

Pretty nice place but they havent fixed the area around a light in the bathroom, took them like 3 weeks to fix to ceiling in the bathroom, and havent fixed the window in my sister room. overall nice place

If you dont care about crime, roaches, scorpions, all kinds of pest including the office staff. This place is perfect for you. On summer the parking lot smells like fresh carcass. This place... leave it as the last resource, the place have no criteria when lease a unit, The experience living in here is very close to live under the freeway paying extorcion to keep your spot under the freeway. SMH

The floors are warped, sink keeps getting clogged, and there is a general run down feel to this place. So far the price is right, which is what matters. Pool and other amenities have been down for a long while. So while it's nothing special, I can't deny that I've had a solid, safe experience living here. Like I've never felt unsafe in or around my apartment, which is the main reason for those 3 stars.

SEPTEMBER 24, 2022- URGENT UPDATE Property has been sprayed with dangerous pesticides! One of my neighbors' daughters had a seizure after the spray and ended up in the hospital! The lady has contacted an attorney! It is claimed that it is not toxic by the office! I will file a lawsuit if they enter my apartment! I suffer from severe allergies! Need some renovations

Buildings are too old and in disrepair for the rent they charge. Years of paint buildup cause the cabinet doors to not close. Excessive amount of time waiting for repairs. Not a nice place to live

Alejandra and Marisol are the two most unprofessional and rude workers of this pitiful property. THEY DON’T know what they are doing up there.After I was given incorrect information from someone at the office, instead of investigating the situation I was billed and told “they aren’t capable of making such a mistake” like I just made everything up right when my lease was up I had the whole apartment cleaned and ready to go for inspection but get I was charged for another month. These people are money vultures and will find any everything to charge you. They are inconsistent, lazy, nasty attitude people and I encountered this for 2 years staying at the apartment complex. They never fix anything and will lie to you. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

After my boyfriend and I made and confirmed an online appointment to view an apartment. They never answered our calls and closed the office completely, no one is there! and after we sent our IDs and everything to the number they posted on their leasing office. We did everything we were supposed to do, just to waste gas and to be ignored in everyway possible. I wish I can make a review about the actual apartment, but obviously due to the fact that the leasing office is all of a sudden non existent and doesn’t follow thru with a basic appt. I can’t. Very frustrated and disappointed in the lack of communication and the lack of business in general!

the apartments are nice, really clean, moderate to quiet neighborhood, pest control does a really lousy job, depending on how big your maintenance problem is they may or may not come but they do more often than not, the leasing agents change about every 6 months. The first ones were rude the ones We have now are very nice. Certain things aren’t considered maintenance issues like floor tiles or a yellowing/peeling tub so you just have to deal with it or fix it yourself or bring it up at lease renewing.
