I had a skinny margarita and it was PHENOMENAL. For dinner I chose to have a chicken and steak fajitas and I enjoyed the steak more. But everything was exceptional. The music sets the scene. This was a wonderful place to dine and our server was fantastic!
Excellent food, great service and good selection of drinks. They know what they are doing, and the meals are prepared like they are meant for family. Definitely in my top 10 for foodies in DC. My selection was Enchiladas with Mole and numerous Patron.
Delicious food and Excellent service. The Lomo saltado and the grilled chicken were cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5
Wonderful margaritas and tequila shots. Good quality food for the price, interesting decor!
While our server was very friendly, we came in for just some drinks on happy hour after observing a board outside the restaurant advertising 14 dollar Margaritas. I pointed to the sign and said I’ll have one of those and they charged me 24 dollars instead. Completely crazy prices for one drink but it’s just upsetting that they would overcharge me despite me pointing to the sign and asking for the happy hour drink. I would not recommend you go here.
The service left a lot to be desired. I had the combo of tacos. The pork was spectacular, the beef was ok, the chicken came out cold. 80 dollars for lunch for 2 people without alcohol. That was a lot of money for lunch tacos. Will not be returning.Food: 4/5
All the dishes tasted the same, and none of it very impressive in flavour. Kind of like airport Mexican food and also super duper expensive. 20 bucks a dish thereabouts. Go to a hole in the wall Mexican place and eat a million times better for 1/10 the price.
I had a fantastic experience at Larendo. I went as part of DC Veg Restaurant Week and was very impressed with the vegan options. They even had a special menu for the week. We sat outside on the patio, which was charmingly decorated. Our food took a while to come out, so they offered complimentary drinks. The person I was dining with and I weren't complaining or anything; Laredo's staff went out of their way to make sure we were having a good experience. Juan was our server and he was terrific. He was both professional and personable. You can really tell when someone puts effort in to make sure you have a pleasant meal. I will definitely go back to Laredo, and I hope Juan is on shift when I go!
I was in the neighborhood and decided to drop in. I went with the bottomless unlimited tapas for $20. The food was great, service was good, and I appreciated being able to try a bunch of different recipes. The reason they lost one star is because of the receipt and tip calculation. My meal was $20. The tax was $2. A 20% tip was calculated on top of the tax. I don't think I have ever seen it that way. I am OK tipping 20% of the meal, but not the tax.
Is a small and cozy place, good atmosphere, nice service and the food is pretty delicious! Was a good experience and enjoyed with my family a lot Kid-friendliness: Really nice and patience with kids. My son is 2 years old and they were so nice and polite with him and he also love the food of this place Parking: Wasn't difficult to find a space close by to the restaurant. Parking situation is not an issue
