So far the Best !!! Ecuadorian food in NJ love the variety of seafood that they offer in their menu as well they service simple awesome everyone so nice and welcoming I would recommend it to anyone to come avg try it out. All I have to say is I found my favorite Ecuadorian restaurant to return to try more delicious dishes they offer.
Food was delicious & Atmosphere was good. We were seated right away. Big spacious room upstairs. Waiter gave great recommendations. Big Portions were served. El Quaker como hecho por mi abuelita.Food: 5/5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Ecuadorian restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! I started with the seafood marinade soup with peanut sauce, “OMG”, it was to LIVE for! The rich, savory flavors were simply heavenly. EL DIABLO! My daughter had the fried chicken breast, which had a delightful hint of lime that elevated the dish to new heights. We also ordered crab ceviche to go, and I couldn’t resist tasting it in the car. Honestly, it was so incredible that I wish I could take the entire restaurant home with me. The customer service was top notch, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would, because 5 just isn’t enough! Highly recommend!
**get ready to READ** As a fellow Ecuadorian, I am just overall disappointed. When you walk in the establishment you can tell they invested a good amount of money into the business. They only have their menus on iPads, the photos of the food on the iPad menu are high quality and look very appetizing. The bar top was nice and big, and fully stocked. However the service, presentation of the food and its quality was just very disappointing to say the least. They should invest their time in training their staff to be more attentive to the customers, also the staff should learn the menu and be able to explain and SELL a dish to the customer. My waitress was rushing my table to order and when she realized we were there to relax and enjoy our meal, I feel she was as annoyed and did not even look in our direction for the remaining of our time there. Also, I’m from NYC, where water is almost automatically served on the table. But the waitress did not even OFFER OR ASK if we wanted water. When serving an alcoholic beverage we ordered two sangria pitchers it is just the smart thing to offer your guests WATER. She didn’t offer tap or bottle. I was just amazed. The presentation of the dishes looked very sloppy. This is not someone’s grandmas house, I am paying for an experience I would like to be able to photograph my plate ‍ that’s just the world we live in today, sorry not sorry The plating just gave very….DEL CAMPO. After that whole experience, I get my bill and see GRATUITY is INCLUDED. So after the 2-star service a $40 tip was automatically included. I could’ve asked for it to be taken off my bill so I can give my OWN tip, but I just wanted to leave so she got her 20%. ‍
As an authentic Ecuadorian.. food is to die for! I was craving Caldo de Salchicha for a while.. and OMG. I’m leaving fully satisfied! Portions are very generous.. so I’m having more caldo for later loool! Also we order yapingacho which was DELICIOUS! The staff are so nice and friendly. Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Everything was delicious! I had La Bandera and it was awesome having a little bit of everything. Would recommend :Food: 4/5
Lets start it off. Chaulafan was my dish of choice. Note that you get enough to feed three people. It was pretty good. Try it with some of their hot sauce. Overall the atmosphere was decent. The upstairs area was a bit hot and the airflow left much to be desired. Drinks were good. Service was decent just wish they got the water they serve out faster. Make sure to get bottled water as the tap water taste metallic. Dessert is bomb. I also drove an hour to this joint so my review may be a bit more critical. 3.5 stars
We traveled for 30 minutes to dine at this establishment based on the recommendation of a colleague. Overall, we were pleased with the quality of the food and will likely return in the future. The dishes we ordered were all satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the carne asada and sampled the ceviche. My companions also expressed contentment with their respective meals. The portions were generous. The service was generally satisfactory. Despite the establishment being quite busy, we only had to wait 25 minutes for a table. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive for the most part, although we did have to remind her a couple of times about a few requests. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, with the exception of my dish, which was served approximately 10 minutes after everyone else's. The atmosphere was pleasant, with moderate noise levels and adequate lighting. The music selection was enjoyable and created a lively ambiance. The seating area where we were situated was somewhat cramped, but there appeared to be more spacious seating in the rear of the establishment. Upon receiving the bill, I noticed a 20% service charge had been added. I must admit that I have not encountered such a charge previously. Initially, I assumed it was a gratuity, but I later learned that this may not necessarily be the case. While I appreciate the service provided, I am unable to afford an additional 20% gratuity on top of the service charge.
Came here for advanced Father’s Day weekend with my whole family June 9th, 2024 for lunch. We found it on Google searching for good seafood in Bayonne. We had seafood, steaks, soups and sides. All were very delicious and very big portions. The food, service Natalia, and ambience are all excellent! Highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Muchisimaa gracias! Parking: Found parking easily on the weekend.
