This is a cool bar. Beer selection was very good as well as the service and decor. Would definitely stop in again if in the area... good thing we have some close friends that live in Bayonne

Great bar, the restrictions make it tough to get in. There's only 7 or 8 tables total, plus 2 at the pool table. Service is great, friendly bartenders, the people that frequent the place are nice. If covid weren't here, it would be a weekend spot for my wife and myself. Right now it's a special occasion spot since we don't leave the house to speak of.

Customer oriented staff that has experienced mixologists. They provide a friendly environment and atmosphere for all of their clients regardless of race, religion and sexual orientation, a pool table and music selection that is as varied as their clients. An excellent place to go alone or with a group. On weekends, they provide adequate security so their clientele can feel safe and secure.

Trash. I felt discriminated. Lol seriously the second I sat down. Asking me if I want to drink. Like let me get settled first. Let me approach the bar at my own pace. This is why I came to this establishment. To drink. But then in the end also messed up my order trying to over charge me 6$ because my name on my tab wasn't an easy way to pull up my order. Instead mistaken it for someone else who ordered two beers and a mix drink. Never coming here again. TRASH.

If you're looking for a bar that has chill vibes and great service, Shorty's is the spot in Bayonne to come to. It's a fun place to shoot some pool and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Also, to the one reviewer giving a bad review for $4 bottled beer, you must be stuck in 1985 LOL

Great place for drinks. They don't have a drinks menu but they will make you anything. Good music, great rock themed decor, and a pool table that isn't in your way or in the way of others when playing.

Love shorty's no one is an outcast there. Young, old, hip hop, punk, alt, metal are all welcome. Reasonable prices and the staff are welcoming. I have made many a new friend there.

My husband and myself dont live far from 13th street. We wanted to go play a few rounds of pool last night. We have been to this bar several times. WE DO NOT DRINK LQ. We order an orange juice and play pool. The bartender or person in charge said this is not an arcade and that we have to purchase a lq beverage in order to play pool. After mentioning that we do not drink lq, he said " THAT IS NOT HIS PROBLEM". I think the owner should either get rid of that person or retrain him. Completely obnoxious and rude. white dude with glasses BAD FOR BIZ
