We bid on an estate planning auction item at a crab feed put on by Santa Clara County Legal professionals association. Although we only paid a fraction of the service cost they still treated us like we were a very important client. The paralegal and office manager Rod Cardinale Jr. even offered to meet us closer to our home as we live in San Jose.

We had an estate plan created by Janet and her friendly staff. She took lots of time to advise us on many options. We are very happy with the results. Then a few years ago we had to update due to marriages and births. We were pleased with the results. Janet sends a monthly newsletter that we find very useful. She has annual barbecue for clients. She sends a humorous Christmas letter in legalese regarding Santa and the holidays. The office is close enough that we can walk.

I found immense value in consulting with Janet, because I truly didn't understand what can happen if loved ones don't have Advance Care Directives, Wills, & Powers of Attorney in place. My family is better protected now, and that's a huge asset for us. Janet's coaching on this, and the nudging to actually get it done (not just have nice thoughts about it), were critically important.
