There are three points that make this a great all-round superior county park right in the middle of Union County: 1) the walking path is hard surface (over one mile long one way) so both walker and and bicycle-riding child companion are accommodated. 2) more than enough trees and lakeside spots to throw down a folding chair, in the shade, and resume reading your Kindle. And 3) there's a portable john right in the parking lot. My secret spot for exercise and relaxing is now not so secret. See you there...

Great spot for walking/biking and wildlife viewing. Also entrance on the blvd that's kinda hidden if you don't know the area. Check it out!

A great place to walk. Nice wide tarmac footpath. But one has to be comfortable sharing right of way with bikes.
