Beautiful view of NY's skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Nice for a walk with the family. Great playground with lots of activities for the kids (but no swings!) Convenient to Liberty State Park Light Rail station. I'd like it if they had some ice cream or food carts nearby for the hungry/thirsty children, we ran out of water on a hot day and that would've been awesome. Lovely park.

Nice park with wonderful views of the New York City skyline. Nice point from which to get to the Statue of liberty and the Ellis Island National historic sites; access to these sites is less crowded then from the New York City site lots of parking. Lots of open space for picnicking, kite flying, kicking a ball, walking, jogging and biking. Near enough to downtown Jersey City, by car or bike, to enjoy the many restaurants in the area.

This is a great place to get a view of the Manhattan skyline. In fact, you can see the entire New York Skyline from here. This is also the alternative place to catch a Statue of Liberty Cruise (the other ones leave from Battery Park). This is a nice place for a stroll. But keep in mind that this is a waterfront location and can get very windy/chilly at times.

Very nice. So much to do. For all ages. Lots of the activities are geared for children and parents can do the activities with their children. My favorite activity is the touch and feel. It's a maze where you feel your way out in the dark and infrared camera takes your picture as you pass by. After you get out, the pictures can be emailed to you. I got it right away and I was so happy. If you're on the outside the maze you can view the people on the inside of the dark maze. Be prepared to spend money to eat. The food isn't cheap but it's quick eats. Souvenirs are very expensive too. We loved the astronaut food. It's a great experience and it's not far from the Statue of Liberty.

Great outdoor space. Perfect for the family or lovers taking a romantic stroll. Back paths lead to building still in recovery from the hurricane. Spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, NYC, Brooklyn, etc. Good place to picnic in the warmer weather or a take scenic jog. If you do go, don't forget to pack your best camera!
