The location is a bit aged, but it is a history buff's find of a lifetime. It is chock full of historical information on the American Revolution. It gives you a first hand account of George Washington's battle against the British and time line of his travel from there to Valley Forge. Considering we can travel the same distance in a matter of hours it will give you an entirely new perspective on how modern technology has changed our country. It truly makes you appreciated what they went through during that time. I suggest that you visit Valley Forge after this historical site.

Great views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and the New York Skyline. The park is clean well maintained. Also great to checkout the historical soldiers’ quarters and canons.

Very peaceful area along the Hudson with great views of the GWB & NYC. An ideal place for a little hike as there are some nice trails in the area. You can hike all the way up the Palisades from here since the trail system is about 30 miles long. You wouldn't expect this area to be here since it is not easily spotted from the bridge or even the local roads.

This is actually a very long narrow park with many different areas. If you go down by the docks on busy summer days you might have to pay to park. Other areas further down you do not have to. There are a few good hiking trails. I take my dogs down here all the time. Sometimes at the little beach area. Sometimes to just look at the bridge. It’s very photogenic and a perfect place for a picnic.
