Older building with older building issues old carpets, old gym equipment, outdated decor but friendly maintenance, front door, and cleaning staff. Don’t care for the property management office because they can be dismissive until corporate gets involved pays to know the right people. Place would really benefit from updating the gym with more newer equipment and just completely shutting down the attached dog park or enforcing having dog owners cleanup after their pets. As far as the apartments themselves they’re pretty soundproof so I never hear my neighbors but the construction noise outside can be unbearable especially if you want to open your windows but that’s not the fault of the property. Where the place shines is in value and location. Best value in Arlington hands down and the views from the rooftop are second to none. Just wish they’d improve the gym and modernize the common areas.
We like living here! It is a quiet building, the neighbors are respectful, the facilities are adequate, and the monthly rent is fair. It is located right across from a Whole Foods, near several restaurants, two parks Long Bridge and Highlands, and two metro stations Crystal City and Pentagon City. Overall, we are happy we chose Lenox Club.
Moved in September and have had a largely positive experience! The concierge/front desk workers are EXTREMELY kind and helpful, the building is kept clean, and the area feels incredibly safe. The location is great and we love to show our visiting family/friends the rooftop. The only disappointing thing has been the number of things that keep breaking in our apartment. Maintenance is incredibly responsive, but it makes me feel bad to keep calling them! The pool was also out of service for repairs for about two months, but it's thankfully back to normal now!
Update: After getting in touch with management, we were able to resolve issues with the leasing process. We've been very happy during our two months here, from management to the front staff and onsite repairs, our experience has been very positive living here. Once renovations are done outside, everything will be even more improved. Again, we're glad we were able to work with the team to quickly resolve our issues with the process and love our home. Bottom line: look elsewhere- leasing staff beyond horrible. Potential renters who have really tried and wanted to live here. However, the leasing team has made this impossible to the point where my significant other and I couldn't justify us enjoying the floor plan and friendly concierge staff. Through multiple tours, or I should say attempted tours, I have had to wait on the leasing team for over 45 minutes the first time when the leasing staff pushed back an open house to other potential renters by two hours because they weren't prepared, being told we could have a move-in deal over the phone only to be given conflicting information as we waited in-person, to the most recent attempt at a tour not being booked despite us being in the office with them. We truly wanted to live here and thought it would have been nice to, but the leasing staff's consistent insults combined with the frankly non-existent amenities have made this impossible. We wanted to call Lenox Club our home, but at each and every turn the leasing staff rudely has been making the process as difficult as possible. It is a shame because concierge staff are friendly and helpful, and at multiple times agreed that how leasing was treating us is unacceptable. Live elsewhere- leasing staff has no incentive to help or do anything that would make people want to live here.
I have been staying at Lenox Club since I have moved to Northern VA almost 2 years ago. Location is perfect! Maintenance’s response time is quick. The building has constantly been going through renovation during my stay which is much expected considering all of the construction going on in the area.
I was looking for a new apartment and therefore, visited the Lenox Club Apartments. It offers competitive prices among all apartments buildings which are located near metro station and have DC skyline view. The building is a little bit old, but very clean and neat, and its renovated units are great. The staff are very friendly here. The leasing agent Karina is one of the most impressive leasing agents I have ever met. She answered me lots of questions with patience. No matter If you are a student, or if you will work here, this is a great place to consider. It’s just in walking distance to nearby metro stations, food market, restaurants and the malls. You can enjoy DC night scene here with lower payment compared to other buildings nearby. Although I finally decide to live in other place, I would definitely recommend Lenox Club to my friends.
One of two parking garage elevators has never been in service since I moved in six months ago. Of the four tower elevators, three are operational on a good day, one has never been in service, since I moved in, either. The parking garage looks like a fallout shelter, with extraordinarily tight spots. The AC filters were changed for heat in mid October, while we had temperatures of up to 90 degrees and were only capable of producing heat. When asked whether they can be switched to cooling, I was told to “just open the windows.” The amenities were closed due to “Covid precautions”, then upon reopening, all of the outdoor furniture such as lawn chairs were missing. So, according to Lenox Club’s logic, sitting on a couch in the indoor lounge is fine, but outdoor lawn chairs are high risk? Maintenance workers are very professional and polite, but management will send them into your unit with little to no notice to the resident for “inspections” and “maintenance”. Talk about privacy. Packages won’t be accepted by the front desk unless the resident’s name appears on them. Which means that if your relatives or friends order you a gift without putting your name down as recipient, they will be sent back. Why not deliver to the apartment listed on the package and let the resident decide?? The stove is the cheapest possible electric spiral top. Three out of four are crooked and your eggs will always be cooked unevenly, also makes it impossible to clean. Can’t wait for my lease to be up.
Update: Management is quick to resolve issues and being flexible with the community members. Maintenance is also very expedient. Parking is through 3rd party now and it tolerable - be advised that there were motorcycle thefts reported from the garage Per sign at the entrance "You pay for privilege to park and there is no guarantee of security". At the time of this update there is bunch of construction going on West side Used to be scenic and quiet at higher floors of the building so don't expect peace and quiet for some time; although double pane windows reduce sound very well. Elevators are hit or miss after the overhaul with breakdowns - at times you only have 1 small functional one during rush hour foot traffic after work. Overall, it was a good stay Bernstein Management team is doing well. Initial Comment: Place is a bit dated. Certainly feels like 90s apartment. Competitive rent prices in the area. Costco, whole foods, Pentagon, and a mall are all within walking distance. Management is pretty good so far but I have yet seen my referral bonus after 6 months of waiting... 7ft clearance in the garage for those with tall vehicles. Some spots I have .5 of an inch clearance from piping on my stock F150 truck. Spots are tiny if you drive a truck... but with planning one can maneuver in.
Honestly this is a great place to live. We have been here a little over a month and so far we’ve had no complaints. There has been a fair amount of maintenance going on, but management has had great communication about it so it hasn’t bothered us. It’s a great price for the area, and it was perfect for our needs. So, 5 stars for now; if anything comes up, I’ll update it, but we’ve been impressed so far. Update 4/1/22 We have lived here for about a year bow and things continue to be great. We had an issue with our shower’s hot water vibrating and causing a loud noise. We contacted management about the issue and they got back to us by the end of the day. Someone fixed it the next day and they were very pleasant and explained the issue to us. Great service! We are enjoying the amenities offered here. We are up for a lease renewal in a few months and we will be happy to stay here another year. Update 12/9/2022 Lots of construction going in the garage. Hasn’t been hard to navigate but definitely noisy. Working from home hasn’t been a problem though. The summer was rough however as they changed something in our A/C unit and it just never was able to cool down our place. Luckily we traveled a lot over the summer to escape the heat. It’s nice now that it’s winter though. We still have another 6 months here but so far we’ve mostly enjoyed living at Lenox Club. Location is still great.
We really like living in Lenox club and they often host some nice socializing events hosted. Management team and maintenance team are very responsive when we encounter issues in our apartment unit. At the same time, we are a little concerned about constantly changing management team/company though. And long-lasting elevator issues. We have lived here almost for 3 years, but we frankly have never seen all elevators were working normally. They said they are aware of the issue and currently working on it, but still the situation remains the same. Management team contacted me and they said they are working on it, so hopefully we can see the change soon. Our locked bike was stolen from the garage, and since then, we feel a little unsafe. We do appreciate if front desk staff is more attentive especially during nighttime. Maybe it was not always like that, but when I was there during night, they were either watching movie or are somewhere else. Though this apartment is located in convenient location and has a lot of charms in it, there are still several problems they should improve. TVs on the rooftop party area, gym, and one on the first floor are not working as well. It might be just a temporal issue, but there are things like this to be fixed. We would love to see some improvements because we do like living here.
