My husband and I came in to get gear for our first ever ski season and knew next to nothing about what we wanted. Thank God, for Scott at level 9! He helped us through the entire process, taught us what to look for and even gave us a few ski and care tips for our gear— all while being mindful of our budget and making us feel like part of the ski family! Seriously cannot say enough good things. There’s zero question about where we will go in the future when looking for a reliable opinion and gear!

This shop is far and away the best ski shop in all of Utah. I grew up in Park City, UT, and now whenever I'm home visiting, I still make the trek down to Level 9 in SLC to get the ski equipment I'm looking for. Not only do these guys offer the best prices BY FAR, they offer a massive selection and a super knowledgeable staff that can find you exactly what you need given your skill level, preference, etc. I bought my most recent pair of skis from these guys a year ago, and they are my favorite pair of skis I have owned to date.
If you're headed up to Park City and know you'll be in need of equipment, it will be very worth your time and dollar to stop by before your trip up the canyon. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I recommend Level 9 Downtown above all else.

Staff was not helpful at all. I asked for help picking out a helmet after getting my ski rentals and the response I got was, "Well, as you can see, I've been busy trying to put these boots away since you got here, but fine, I guess I can help a little." While helping, he went on to say, "Look, I don't have this stuff memorized. You looking around at helmets is no different than me looking at them with you."
I'm not sure what kind of customer service training they do here, but they clearly don't care at all to help their customers have a good experience. They just want your money and want you to leave them alone.
If you're new to the sport, like we are, this is definitely NOT the place for you as they don't want to answer any questions.

Do not buy ski boots from here if you’re new to buying ski boots. With low prices comes poor customer service. I purchased a pair of ski boots here and wasn’t fitted correctly. I went back multiple times to get them fixed but still had issues. I visited a couple other ski shops in the area to get a second opinion and learned that Level Nine fitted me two sizes too big and they wouldn’t do anything to remedy the situation. When buying something like new boots, it’s worth every penny going somewhere with experienced boot fitters. After seeing the kind of service other shops like Sports Den and Christy’s offers, I’ll never shop at Level Nine or recommend that anyone else does either.

Fitted me for ski boots 2 years ago and they are still comfortable enough for me to sleep in if I had to. ;) Excellent customer service and patience to make sure we had the perfect fit. Also purchased my favorite groomer skis here too! Thank you!
