Great library overall, but often packed and nowhere to find a place to study. Starbucks downstairs, scanners, printers, computers for students to use, oh yeah and lots of books. The subject librarians are helpful and friendly. The grad level (6th floor) is nice, wish it were a bit bigger though. The bookeye scanner is convenient but there’s usually a line, having another one in would be an improvement. You often see trash, crumbs, and spills on desks and the floor. They should consider hiring a few more staff members to clean up because it’s often dirty. Their online system for reserving private study spaces, called Dibs, is great but often everything is already taken. In short, great library, but it would need to be much bigger to comfortably accommodate everyone who wants to use it.

Library west is like no other library. Many have given it the name "Hogwarts" which is a bit of misnomer because you have a better chance of finding an elf than a seat as the library can become extremely crowded. This library is now 24/7 but remember to come before noon or this is a good chance finding a seat may be difficult. @ndy

Best place to study. Staffs are helpful and friendly. On study break you can walk on University Avenue to find all sorts of food. At night there are guardians on the gate checking ID.

Overall excellent library. Coffee, escalators, moving bookshelves, great views of Mid on Friday nights.... this place has it all. Only complaint is about the first two to three outlets on the power strips in the cubicles, hence the four stars. Sometimes they're a little loose and can't properly secure my charging cords. However, outlets four, five, and six work perfectly in my experience. Favorite feature would have to be the water fountains. Filling up my water bottle has never been easier. Currently, the water fountain on the second floor has helped save over 392,437 plastic water bottles! A few pro tips: utilize the stairwells located on the side facing University during busy hours, they help cut down on the travel time moving from floor to floor resulting in a higher likelyhood of finding an open seat before another peer gets to it (*critical around the time of finals*). Finally if you're ever lost, take a brief ride inside the state of the art elevators, they come equipped with detailed, yet easy to read floor plans. It truly is great, nay, amazing UF.
