Found this place by accident, was looking for another place…fantastic food, tofu tacos, club sandwich, tater tots and onion rings were amazing! Best bar-ish food I’ve had in a long time! Stella the server-bartender was super friendly and was really helpful. A definite must try!Food: 5/5
Was staying in Portland for an extended period of time, and this was close to where I was staying. Thank goodness. I think I visited 4 times in 2 weeks. Everyone working was very friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious and came out quick. Everything is reasonably priced. Not much more you can ask for, in my opinion. Didn't have a chance to check out downstairs, perhaps another time. This was a great spot to have some good food, drinks, and be able to watch just about any sporting event. Appreciate the hospitality here, and will make sure I stop any time I come back to Portland.
Down stairs bartenders were freaking awesome super cool dudes redhead bartender upstairs her attitude was like her body just nasty. And all I wanted was a drink to get off my feet for a few minutes from walking around the city and she was just downright nasty. Totally made me not want to go there again. But definitely made it a lot easier not to tip.
Very surprising cool spot. You might miss it if you aren't looking for it. American fare is familiar but impressive. Great bar selection. Vibe is industrial meets sports bar, but not overdone with TVs. Great hang out.Food: 5/5
Strong drinks and modest food at a very reasonable cost, especially compared to the competition in the Pearl. The downstairs game area with ample pool tables is a huge plus. Service can be a little spotty but nothing to complain about in particular. It's dark inside but in my experience I'm here once the sun has gone down so it's no big deal. I wouldn't call this a dive bar, but it's also not a bougie cocktail lounge. It's a good sweet spot for when you're looking to have a drink or 3 and some bar food to go with it.
Title: Decent Spot with Room for Improvement Rating: Visited this place during a busy hour around 4 PM, and while the ambiance was inviting, the overall experience left a bit to be desired. The service was noticeably slow, which might have been due to the crowd, but it was a setback nonetheless. The drinks we ordered were tasty, which was a plus. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered. It seems like the place has its share of loyal customers, given the crowd, but there wasn't anything particularly standout about the experience to make it memorable. It's a decent spot if you're not in a hurry and don't mind paying a little extra for the ambiance and good drinks. --- This review is straightforward and provides a clear picture of your experience, pointing out both the positives and the areas that could use some improvement.
Popped in here for a quick drink, no prices printed on the menu, ordered a 12oz bottle of modelo. 7 bucks! Surprising given this place resembles a low budget college bar dive. Yeah, this place is a definite no.Service: 3/5
Good food and great prices, though the burger was slightly dry for my tastes. Staff is courteous and efficient, a chill lunch/post-work beer spot. Vegetarian options: Garden burger, mac and cheese, some appetizers.
Fun, chill place! Happy hour is awesome! We got the wings, barley soup and spinach artichoke dip… so yummy!Food: 5/5
unfortunately had a bartender who was very disrespectful and patronizing. he accused me of being an undercover minor with the OLCC despite me literally showing him my NOT underage ID, and offering alternative forms of identification? i thought he was joking until he kept trying to interrogate me and loudly and wrongly explain basic liquor laws. lets hope his power trip brings him peace
