I was told I would only have to pay a co-payment of $10 dollars because they already ran my insurance prior to my appointment. They said I already met my deductible for this year so I would be covered. I have already had a number of family emergency’s and I was not in a place to rack up any more doctor bills. I was their last appointment and they rushed me in and out of there. Then I received a billed for over $400 dollars for our first appointment, which only consisted of them interviewing me about my child!! After insurance I am still responsible for $171. I called them and tried to reach and get a hold of them for over two weeks. When they finally got back to me they insisted they went over the costs with me and that they always “followed protocol.” The lady said she ALWAYS sits down with the parents and circles the charges but she did not! I thought I made sure this wasn’t going to cost a lot before we went, only to be lied to and given the run around and spoken to in a demeaning manner.
