Lion Brand Yarn Studio

Both times I went to Lion Brand yarn I received the best customer service. The cashiers were more than happy to recommend different yarn types for making a baby blanket and to help me choose a crochet hook. When the yarn turned out to be too thin for me to work with, the store was happy to exchange the unused spools for the yarn I preferred instead. They also were certain to match the dye lots and gave me advice about turning the crochet at the end of the first line. I don’t usually leave store reviews, but I was very impressed with the selection and service. Thank you!

I've been taking crochet classes here with Jenny and she's an excellent teacher! If you are looking to learn a new skill, the classes can't be beat. They are affordable and they're never too full so you know you'll always get 1:1 attention.

Worst customer service ever. i go out of my way to get to the local shops instead of micheal’s! I paid full price for my yarn for a giant blanket. I was told 90days return. They would not even let me exchange it for another color!!!! (It s not like I m gonna stop knitting I would have been fine having a new color) And the passive aggressive short answer of the cashier were unnecessary! “Oh nooooooo” “no no no” “good for you” “as you wish” (obvious not...) like can you be a normal person and not give me a robot answer? I don t care you had no coffee! It is not an excuse like come on... who cares? I m late for work lost 15$ and I still say hello and smiled ... Next I will use my 50% coupon from Michaels and enjoy they great customer service.

In the midst of the Interior Design and the Table Top district in Manhattan, this cozy little yarn boutique offers mostly acrylic, and synthetic and wool blends. This family own business features a wonderful selection of inspirational colors and textures.

This store is simply fabulous and is one of the jewels of New York City. I have had three hand knit Scandinavian sweaters repaired and currently under repair is a hundred year old crocheted quilt. Their work is excellent. The staff is superb. I give this organization my highest recommendation.
