I walked in without an appointment, for a men’s haircut on an early Saturday morning, and Tim was my Hair Stylist. In and out inside of an hour.
There is a wonderful aura in the salon, that can be described as “happening; fresh; fun; collaborative; and inviting!”
Other guests seemed to be regulars and were in a good mood. I was offered water/coffee. There was a lovely waiting area for my wife to relax.
I felt I got my money’s worth, and then some. Strong and thorough shampoo service. A very comprehensive consultation by Tim, my hair stylist. He was confident in his cutting style and obviously had a plan while cutting. Thorough second shampoo and conditioner after my cut. They use quality products for washing hair.
I did not feel that I was being sold to with retail products, like some other establishments do. This is a good thing, as there were no sales tactics to trap you at the register.
I would recommend though that they try to cross-sell some of their other services, which I learned about only later on their website. I wouldn’t mind coming back for a brow wax, and try them out next time I’m due for a trim and shape up. Had I known at the time, I would’ve saved a trip from going to European Wax Center down the street.
The facility is kept clean and is quite large. Great music was playing. I felt like the space was inviting and professional.
Signage outside...it’s adequate once you are in the shopping center, and once you know where you are going. If, on the other hand, you are exploring and are looking for a new place to try, then the signage is a bit confusing. I’ve driven passed this area (I’m a local) at least 1,000 times, and always notice the Gallo’s Bakery sign, but not this salon. Not sure if that is just me, or if others might feel similarly. If the landlord allows for more signage, I would optimize on that, but I’m not an advertising expert. :)

I have been going to Lotus Salon for years, I cannot say enough about the total experience, as soon as you walk in the pampering begins.
I followed my hairstylist Chrissy to Lotus because she is an expert with my naturally curly hair!! I have struggled over the years to find someone who cares, who listens and takes time to really understand what my hair needs.
Chrissy has kept my curls cut and shaped perfectly, she gives a fantastic blow dry and never over cuts the length. I highly recommend Chrissy!!! Many of my friends and family also sit in Chrissy's chair and they love her too!!!

I absolutely LOVE Lotus Salon. I have been going there for years. Chrissy has been my stylist for over 10 years and I love her. Chrissy can tame my coarse curly hair and make it smooth as silk. She is a talented artist, she is kind and professional. My colorist Julie is wonderful! She keeps my gray hair at bay and my natural red hair looking the same as it did when I was in my 20's. She is a chemist and an artist. She is warm and down-to-earth. Rose does a fantastic job with waxing and make-up and is one of the sweetest people. She, too, is a talented artist. Lotus Salon is full of warm, professional artists that take pride in their work and make you feel welcome and at home when you are there. The salon is very clean and is modern and relaxing. I love my glam squad and look forward to my monthly Lotus appointment!

Nick, the colorist, was attentive, talented, and knew exactly what he was doing. Overall my experience with getting colored by him was great. Chrissy, the women who finished my hair with what was supposed to be a trim and straightened style, was just plain lazy. She couldn't even detangle my hair properly and attempted to straighten my hair without even detangling my hair properly. All through the horrible experience, she even ripped my hair and complained about my hair being too tangly. She claimed that blowdrying my roots and then straightening the rest would make it look better, but in actuality my roots were left curly and my tangled hair was straightened, causing it to look like a 5 year old did my hair. She then kept praising herself when working on my hair which was ridiculous as it was clear that she was trying to make up for her lack of skill. I left with my scalp sore, my hair trimmed unevenly, and straight hair that I had to fight in order to run my hands through. At least the color was pretty. The point of getting my hair straight at a salon is so that parts that I cant reach can be reached, not so that you can half-ass my hair. All in all my experience was pretty bad and I am not coming back. The staff who worked with me had no clue how to work with curly hair and that is disappointing.
