Went into this Lowes to check it out as a new resident to the area, was very happy there is a Lowes nearby when I need to pick up household improvement items. This store is very well stocked, and laid out to make finding what I need easy, and the folks walking the floor were very helpful in pointing me in the direction of where I needed to go when I was looking for some specific items. The selection is nice, the prices are reasonable, I was especially thrilled they have a nice garden section with lots of tools & plants & bushes & such, will make landscaping my new home much easier! Grills and picnic tables, cleaning supplies, ceiling fans, & just about anything you can think of for home improvement chores & tasks are available at this spacious store, and parking is easy & convenient as well. I'll enjoy frequenting this Lowes in the future for sure!
My buying experience with lowes was great. I bought a refrigerator washer and dryer. The gentleman was very helpful and knowledgeable. Even when I had to reschedule my delivery date I immediately received it by email. The delivery day and time also went well.
This is a good place to buy hardware supplies, but an even better place for birdwatching. I've seen sparrows, wrens, Chickadees and Titmice soaring among the rafters here. There's even an occasional crow or pigeon, though these are pretty rare. These cheerful little songbirds always enhance my shopping experience, and put a smile on my face. So come, buy your fasteners, your lumber, your Pex and your appliances, but also get a head start on your Big Year.
This has the worst experience I have ever experienced. I order cabinets from this location last year around sometime in May, I originally started the project with Kathy who send out the contractor for measurements and so forth so when it was time to place the order for my items Kathy was out on leave and Susanne took over and assured she was able to assist my information was already in the system that’s where the nightmare started all I requested was a color change. When the items arrived 6 months later over half of the items had to be sent back because of altered measurements that Susanne took upon herself to change come to find out later she went in and changed the whole layout from what the contractor had originally submitted had all the cabinets off center and the wrong sizes, each time I visited the store for updates on corrections no one never answers the phone in that department she blamed all her other team members vendors and never take ownership to her mistakes each time she assured me that correct items were reordered I get a call from the installation department that they were not. I was without a kitchen from April until this week in which I’m still missing a cabinet and crown molding. This project has been paid in full because they required payment to order merchandise at this time I need to be reimbursed or something.I was just there last week and again she assured the item’s were order from the Diamond manufacturer however I got a call again from installation department that there is no record of the items ordered and they will follow up again the Friday. The other sad thing is that not one single manager from that store has reached out to me, each time I ask for them they are never in. I would like the give a big thanks to the contractor he’s been great and has done a great job this far.
This is the worse Lowes store I have ever been to. Please avoid placing orders at this store, I waited on a door for 4 weeks. The item never arrived on its scheduled date, customer service had absolutely no answers on its status and management was nowhere to be found. I am not sure who was hired to manage the Sams Crossing location, but that decision needs to be reevaluated. It makes absolutely no sense that management is "never "available to address store issues. After several calls and in store visits, my purchased item can no longer be found in their system, to allow me an online cancelation, now back to the store again. Thank God I held on to my receipt and Home Depot is right up the road. Try avoiding this store at all cost, or it will cost you.
Lowe's on Killian has the worst policies and customer service ever. I spent hours planning, researching, calculating, and deciding on the materials that were needed for a retaining wall project. I placed an order early in the week for those materials and scheduled delivery based on their delivery calendar. I verified stock levels online prior to completing my purchase to ensure that there wouldn't be an issue. I placed the order and a hold was placed on my card for the entire purchase amount. Based on these circumstances, you'd think that my order would be picked and packed accordingly, correct? Wrong! Fast forward three days the day before they said they can deliver. I received an email at 4am stating that my ENTIRE order had been cancelled. There was no justification as to why. Of course the store wasn't open at that time, so I had to wait until 7am to call. When I was able to speak to someone at the store, the first person said "oh, the items are out of stock." Excuse me? You let me place a $1500 order for 525 retaining wall blocks, 25 bags of paver base, and 20 bottles of loctite that you don't have in stock??? AND 'placed a hold' on my card for the entire amount which I now have to wait for it to fall off? The lady then transfers me to the very nasty and uncaring Receiving Manager. The conversation goes as follows: I don't know why it was cancelled. You are a manager, don't you think you should find out? Such and such on night shift tried to pull it but we only have 378 blocks in stock. Ok, the other stores have inventory, I checked. How can you get inventory from those stores to complete my order? Don't you know it would take us two days to do that? Ummm, no, I don't know and I am not sure why you think I care. Why didnt someone call me prior to cancelling the order? You want us to call you at four in the morning? Someone should have called before the order was cancelled, even if they had to wait until the store opened. Maybe I could have used the other items in the order. Well, I didn't cancel it, such and such on night shift did. Ok, again, you are a manager, how can this be resolved? I need my order at the stated time of delivery. I have plans to get this work completed utilizing the materials that you said you have in stock. You can call back to speak to the store manager who will be in at noon. What?! I have to wait five hours to speak to someone about a possible resolution?! I can have an order placed elsewhere by then. Why did you place a hold on my card if you didn't have the inventory? The charge will fall off when the bank opens. The charge hasn't fell off, I checked. Is the bank open? This is where I lose it. Of course, it isn't your money, your time, or your schedule that is impacted, so you don't care. End of conversation. I wasn't getting anywhere. I think maybe she used to work at Walmart. Where do they find these people and policies? I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in Lowe's on Killian over the years. I attest that they will NOT get another dollar from me. I've already sold all the stock that I had with them. This isn't the first time that this has happened with this store; however, this is the worse experience of this kind. For those looking to place substantial orders for projects on a timeline, look elsewhere. For those looking for great, or even good, customer service, look elsewhere. For those thinking that Lowe's cares about your concerns, look elsewhere.
We were in your store yesterday trying to decide on a Pre-lit Christmas tree. We were trying to determine the accessories for one particular tree. Josephina must have realized we were going back and forth among the display trees and boxes. She came over and opened a box for us to ensure everything we wanted was included. She retaped the box and assisted us to the register. She happened to be outside assisting another customer, when were taking the tree to our vehicle. Once she finished, she immediately came over to help place the boxed tree in our vehicle. Josephina provided the type of customer service that we do not experience very much in current times. She is an asset to your store and should be rewarded for being a positive light for your store.
Marco in the building department helped me get the supplies I needed for my wood privacy fence. I am so happy that I chose Lowes. The wood was a good quality and most importantly the price wasn't bad at all for the amount of supplies I needed for the project.
Very disappointed. I ordered a door that took over 4 weeks longer than expected. The Millwork doors department has been a hassle to deal with since my purchase and trying to initiate an install. After calling the store to find out that no-one was working in Millworks department on 10-14, I ended up on the phone with Domonique who is supposedly the delivery manager. In her efforts to assist me, she was very unprofessional, rude and out of pocket. She answered the phone saying hello, told me I could NOT speak to someone else at my request and told me what she was going to do verses what I requested as a valued MILITARY customer. This will be my final purchase with lowes and I will be closing my account with this company.
Went to exchange an 8mm open end rachet box-end wrench which was in stock. Bought the kobalt tools when they phased out gearwrench tools. Because I did not have a receipt they would not exchange. Did not even look on my Lowes history. Requested a manager on duty to help in the situation, 5 minutes later in her office around the corner she was worse at customer service as a manager than the return clerk. This reminded me of why I have been traveling the extra miles to buy from Home Depot. Kobalt hand lifetime warranty. I would not recommend Lowes ever again to anyone and especially my fellow brothers and sisters in the armed forces. I also had @$57.00 dollars worth of sockets I was buying to replace the ones that are missing, so over a defective wrench that retails for $8.99 they have totally lost my business forever. They will not stand by there warranty on the hand tools. Buy elsewhere to have warranty assurance. Lowe's need to show there employees during orientation and mandatory mentioned a movie called " Will You Remember Me". It's sad because at one time when employees cared and had ownership in Lowes it ran a lot smoother and was one of the five companies to work for in the 1980's and early 1990's. Good bye forever. Corporate never returned call. This happened at the Lowes at Sam's Crossing in Columbia SC 29229 on November 28th, 2022 @1430-1448 hours. Lost sales.gds...
