Lupe Tortilla

This place is absolutely amazing. First and foremost, the fajitas are outstanding. The steak is probably the best in town, and the flour tortillas are the softest, freshest I’ve had anywhere. You can literally taste how fresh and quality each ingredient is. The service is also quite good. Overall, one of the top Tex-Mex restaurants in the Houston area. Highly recommended!

Great Tex-Mex food and atmosphere. Had a frozen margarita and steak fajitas, both of which were perfect. Came on a busy night, so tables were limited, but once we were seated the service was attentive and food was prepared very quickly. Very impressed, will definitely be back.

The Beef Fajitas are likely the best fajitas known to man. On top of this, which is standard among all Lupe locations, the service was really great. Destini did a great job caring for us and making sure we had all we needed and wanted. This location wasn’t super loud and crazy while we were there, but I am certain it can be at peak hours. If ever coming through Houston, Lupe is one of my must haves.

Best Steak Fajitas I've ever had! The steak is legit and the grilled onions with it are tasty. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

What an amazing experience, Jose was my server and I am an out of state expeditor . I made a delivery in Houston and ate here .. I can’t say enough good things. AMAZING staff, first time here and they came up to me and greeted me with a sample taco! Manager was awesome and over kind ..everyone and everything about this place is 5 starts. HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a Mexican girl, I did not enjoy this food at all. I was craving for authentic Mexican enchiladas, and these ones were so far from that. The burrito was good and staff was very friendly, though.

I have been to this restaurant on Shepard several times. Excited to have a good Mexican meal since I am not from this area but I was very disappointed. The service is not up to par. You are greeted by many employees however as soon as you sit down it’s not a good experience. Bad attitudes and the waiter/waitress or bartender seemed bothered by your order. They do not listen to your order or what you need with your meal. The waitress asked if I was done with my food and I said I’m still eating and she took the food away. She has done this 3 times… unbelievable!! The food and drink is either really good or average. I was there 2 hours and neither of them washed their hands after clearing tables or cleaning off the bar top, then went on to serve food or make drinks. They never ask if you want another drink, you have to wave them down. I’m thinking I should just try a different Mexican restaurant.

Lupe tortilla is a solid Tex-Mex restaurant with multiple locations throughout the state. We got fajitas and queso and were not disappointed. The portion of the queso was large for the price and was a very good cheddar queso. There are better fajitas in Houston but these were still quite good. We had kind servers and enjoyed the atmosphere here. While Lupe Tortilla may not rank #1 on my Tex Mex list, I would certainly come back here. Note- parking was pretty crowded and hard to find a spot but there are some additional lots nearby

Wow wow wow From a start to finish walking into the restaurant, lively atmosphere, busy wait staff in all black going back and forth. Seated right away I was surprised by details that really help bring in the right setting for a great and fun dining experience. I didn’t even wait to leave the restaurant before posting this review due to the residual high of a truly great dining adventure. All food was delivered quickly and with care. Smelled great, tasted like I was the personal guest of an pro chef and left me knowing I would be back instantly. All areas are clean and well kept in addition to well decorated. Kristina our server was the great on every metric I could think of when it comes to really doing an amazing job. A wonderful mix of attentiveness without overbearing and suggested some delicious plates. Fajita plate is the way to go Tried the margaritas, the sides, the apps. From start to finish amazing. Been waiting all year for this kind of great service paired with great food and glad I found it here.

Great experience! Good food, good service, good prices, and a good place to eat. The environment was kind of loud, but not overbearing. If you’re looking for a classic sit down Tex-Mex place, this is a great place to go! Features: Not all servers are wearing masks.
