Mémé Mediterranean offers excellent Mediterranean food, in one of New York City's hottest neighborhoods.

Story

Spices are very important in Mediterranean cooking, especially poivre rouge, or paprika. The paprika you taste at Mémé is made from red bell peppers grown on a small Moshav, or farming cooperative, outside of the owner's hometown.

Mémé is named after owners Alon and Jacob Cohen's mother. Their neighborhood restaurant is family run with a menu heavily influenced by the north African region.

The food was good, the tuna tartar and tacos were good options. We'll have to come back for the hummus platter.

Good food but extremely slow service. The gnocchi appetizer is great does not taste like truffle though and the vegetarian dips appetizer is also solid.
Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Got a table straight away, food arrived quickly. I had the Meme chopped salad with scrimp which was pleasantly larger than expected. So fresh and tasteful, loved the scrimps!! Polite and friendly staff, will definitely come back

Delicious brunch spot in the heart of the village. Quality ingredients. Service was good and ambiance was phenomenal. Sitting outside was preferred, but there was a wait. Would definitely return for any brunch date.
I've never had a dish I didn't love. We've eaten here many times and tried many of their selections. It's definitely worth trying if you can get a table.

comfortable place for lunch, not as busy as dinner time. love the risotto with slow cooked short ribs that i ordered. recommended by one of my Israelis friend so food is a guaranteed !!
