Mac N Out

Unique little place with all sorts of custom mac n cheese dishes and nothing further. Feels like a brick n mortar food truck!

It's a small place, there's not much room to sit and eat. For a small place though, it has a wonderful set up. I had a very pleasant experience with the cashier and the food. It's bright and has bright colors, just a friendly little hut, but it can be cramped. The price seemed a bit much to me, but at the same time, we all wish we could win a mansion for a dollar. So I won't judge the price too harshly. As for the food, they only offer Mac and cheese, that's the whole purpose of this place, it's only Mac and cheese but with different ingredients. The one I got was the one with chicken and broccoli. I unfortunately put breadcrumbs on mine, which wasn't the best choice because the breadcrumbs oddly took away from the Mac and cheese experience. Maybe have seasoned breadcrumbs and put a smaller amount of it per serving whenever people ask for it? Other than the breadcrumbs, Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and deliciously filling. Thank you so very much for feeding me and hiring such a kind gentleman as your cashier. He kept my boyfriend and I smiling! I will definitely come back soon for some Mac and cheese.

The food is amazing. All Mac and cheese of course, but such a wide variety of options. They have seasonal menu items which never disappoint. There are gluten free and multi-grain options. The service is always good. There's a little wait for the food to be done, but that's how you know it's fresh. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I bring friends here all the time. If I lived close enough for delivery, you best believe I would!

I'm a huge fan of anything in any cuisine of mac and cheese, so how could I pass on Mac N' Out. It is in a small unassuming building, parking is in a small lot behind the shop. There are 2 entrances into what is a "to go" place. There is a small bar with 3 stools and a couple more by the front door for waiters. The menu is pretty interesting and I landed on Mac Bites and the Cheeseburger Mac. The Mac Bites are 3 fried mac & cheese balls served over marinara sauce with shredded parmesan on top. They were good size, bigger than a golf ball but smaller than a baseball. They were fried perfectly and each bite was crisp outside and gooey, cheesy in the middle. Excellent. The cheeseburger mac comes with ground beef, fried onions and cheddar cheese then topped with ketchup, yellow mustard and pickles. I passed on the pickles, as I do on my burgers. I have to say this was probably the best I've eaten. Everything blended together for a great meal, not just a great mac & cheese. 4 stars because I would have preferred some tables a d to sit and eat there. The food I had was excellent, excellent quality and I watched it being made. Plus the portion, medium, was huge!

Mac and cheese was a little dry. Ordered the grandma's Mac and cheese could have used extra unsalted butter or cream in the sauce. The added bacon was OK but for an extra 7 bucks I should have had a lot more bacon not a few sprinkled on top. I order the bites they were great but weren't bites they were the size of a tennis ball. Was my first time and hoping it was going to be good but was not satisfied. I will give them one more try the customer service was great.

As the name would imply Mac N' Out makes the most amazing mac n' cheese one could ever choose to devour. So many combinations to try and of course also the good old stand by....grandma's mac n cheese.... I have never had anything here that was less than awesome. The customer service is great too. Always very friendly and I have never had to wait for my order to be completed at pick-up. My favorite is buffalo mac n' cheese....

Food is unique and very good. Not sure if it was the time of day but my order was made to order so it took a few minutes to get it. My goodness it was piping hot and pretty darned good, too. Location is questionable.. if you are not looking specifically for it you may miss it, as it is on a triangular corner on a very busy intersection. Parking is limited in the back. Mac n Out Owner..caution, that back door is not safe..lock it at all times.

Great selection of Mac and cheese choices on the menu. Grandma's original is delicious! The French onion is quite tasty, gruyere cheese is a good choice. Good crumb topping. Some locations have more than cheesy mac, find one near you. Give it a try, see what it's all about. It should not let you down

The Mac n cheese was pretty standard to what you would expect, I tried the buffalo mac. Overall, a good clean place. Does not have vegan or lactose free options but I was told they do serve gluten free pasta.

My first Mac Hotdog and I definitely enjoyed it. Had a taste of the Buffalo Mac from a friend and It wasn't for me however I do look forward to trying something else from their menu. The seating area is small but the space is organized and clean. Definitely comfortable for a quick bite. Parking is in the rear with an entrance from the lot to the restaurant, which is very convenient. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood.
