Mommies Patties

I can't say personally the food is good but I bought stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage for my mom, medium, $10... she liked it, seemed to enjoy. My sister doesn't like them, says she prefers Howells on main. I don't know, it liked good to me. I wanted to try the veggie patties, but they were out. Il go back and get something for myself soon and come back with better review.

Was craving Jamaican, and order from here via Uber Eats. For $20 I got a large order of curry goat with rice and beans, beef patty and cocoa bread. And let me tell you, I was a happy and full customer when I was done. Delicious food, and a great big portion. I couldn't even finish the beef patty, and saved it for lunch for next day.

Don’t understand how you emphasize on “Patties” in the business name, but literally never has patties. I even called ahead, was told they’d be ready in 10 mins then nothing.

Wanted a spicy chicken patty, but the people ahead of me purchased all by time I got to counter. Would have to wait until more were cooked and I was headed back k to Waterbury, so had to settle for spicy beef

Portion are very small for the price of a medium meal it is not worth it. To be honest I use to respect this place once but it is really falling off, the meal doesn't taste like it is being prepared fresh everyday so why charge the way they do for a overnight meal.

I paid less $30 for a plate of under cooked food. I have NEVER had oxtails this tough in my life. The rice was hard and undercooked and the food tasted flavorless. I was shocked because Jamaican food is usually full of flavor. The cabbage was watery and tasted like they boiled it. I just threw $30 away in a pandemic. It will not happen again.

Hi everybody I've ordered mommy's patties about two times and I loved it I also ordered dessert and drinks I highly recommend the pineapple coconut cake everything here is delicious I ordered it through Uber eats good portions good price and the delivery is also always on time the soup the chicken soup is delicious as well I highly recommend that if you're in the Bridgeport area that you come through to Mommy's patties everything is delicious!

I was excited to have this again since I had a good experience in the past with their jerk chicken. Their oxtail is listed for $24 on Uber eats I was very disappointed, that I paid that much for oxtails full of fat only.
