I’ve been coming to macro tech for several years now and have spent a lot of money…..a lot. I would say that I am a loyal customer. Over this past summer I bought a bow from Lenny. I spent a pretty penny on it, Close towards $2,000 and they set it up for me and tuned it in. Just yesterday I called Lenny because I was having an anchor point issue and my arrow was riding off of my rest when I would draw my bow back. With it being November the best time to be in the deer woods I had to get it fixed… fast. I figured it would be a D loop issue or something minor. Nothing was broke and everything was tight and intact. I called Lenny and informed him of the issue and ask if it could be fixed today keep in mind it’s 1:30 pm and they don’t close until 6. With me being a loyal customer for several years and spent as much money as I have there you’d think there would be no issue and he’d be happy and eager to help…. No that wasn’t it at all ! When I asked Lenny if it could be fixed today he snapped an attitude and stated “well I don’t know, maybe” “it was busy in here this morning”. “I guess just bring it on in and we will look at it”. Due to the way I was spoken to over the phone and the lack of interest and lack of eagerness to help a loyal customer that has spent several dollars there, I refused to take it there. I instead called an archery shop near my way in southern MD and informed them of the issue I was having and they told me to bring it right on in and they would do their best. This archery shop was very eager to help and WANTED to help. I went to the new archery shop and they pin pointed the problem in a matter of seconds ! It was fixed in 5 mins ! And I couldn’t think this guy enough for his time and eagerness and willingness to help. Very knowledgeable archery tech and I’ll be going there for now on. And also to put into a factor I told them how much I spent on my bow at Lenny’s and said it was crazy on the price ! Lenny charges an arm and a leg just to turn around and show a lack and willingness and eagerness to help. Good job Lenny, you just lost a loyal customer.
Worth a visit if you're looking for personalized service and clear explanations of questions. Took my son over to look at crossbows and was impressed with the time invested in ensuring he could properly handle and use the crossbow, to include shooting it at the indoor range. Hard to find this type of store anywhere.
Len is an excellent and very knowledgeable archery dealer. He took the time to show us basic techniques at a small range onsite prior to making a purchase. There is an excellent selection of bows for hunters too. Highly recommend!
Len & Cory will take care of you! As a first-time bowhunter, I needed a lot of advice to get my bow & equipment set up for me. They were very patient, explained everything, & made me feel confident in my gear. Prices were fair. They had everything I needed in stock. High confidence they’ll keep me shooting straight.
I’ve been going to Mr. Len for about 20 years now. He’s always taken the time and had great patience with me, even staying past closing on a few occasions to work on my technique. Went there a couple weeks ago and put a deposit on a new Mathews V3x, was able to pick it up today and fine tune everything. Mr. Len and Cory are top notch and I would highly recommend their services. While setting up my peep sight today, Mr. Len noticed a few bad habits I had developed and showed me the corrections I needed to make. He spent over 2 hours helping me with my technique and giving me some sound advice. The new bow shoots like a dream and I will continue using these two guys for as long as they are around. Thanks again Mr. Len and Cory!
Great service. My old recurve bow broke in two pieces. They had me set up with a new compound bow and a dozen within a couple of hours. I'm shooting a 4" group at 30 yards now. Very happy with the setup
Visited here again after 3 years. Len gave me great personal service. He was very attentive and concerned that everything on my bow was perfect. He is highly skilled and technical. He gave me adjustments and pointers. He quickly repaired my bow and accurately tuned it. He's an engineer and gets things right. I highly recommend this store. I went here today and received excellent service from Corey. He did work on my Mathews Halon 32 bow to ensure it's accuracy and integrity after I told him I dropped it from a tree stand. He made adjustments and installed some components. I am very well please with how he treated me. I hope to return to this store in the future with my other equipment.
I recently visited Macrotech to have an issue corrected with a crossbow my wife won. Cory the tech was very kind and professional. I cannot say enough kind words about Len the owner. I would recommend this business to anyone that has an interest in archery. Professional or novice. I will absolutely be back for all my archery needs wether it be for supplies or an education.
My schedule doesn't allow me to get to the pro shop on weekdays, so I called on a Saturday hoping the shop was open. My google search said the shop was closed on weekends so I gave up hope. My phone rings and the caller ID says Macrotech! Len, the owner, not only returned my call but he met me at the shop and opened it just to work on my bows! Can't say enough about customer service on that level! Please, check out Macrotech if you really want to experience what a Pro Shop feels like!
The owner was a kind fella who was more than patient while dealing with me and my girlfriend, both of us are also very much still beginners. He had a pretty good selection of bows and was incredibly informative. I walked in not knowing a thing about archery and walked out with a good bow at a fair price and the knowledge of how to actually use it. I immediately went to an archery range to find that his advice had worked wonders, and I was putting arrows on targets in no time. Great place, highly recommended.
