Spent $30+ on an Uber Assist Im in a wheelchair from N. Vegas to Henderson. Waited an hour outside the leasing office till the seemingly only person working showed up, except I had to approach. Not sure why he seemed so timid instead of professional and confident. He told me they made a mistake and had no wheelchair friendly units. There was a full day in between my visit. What I’m wondering is if they already knew, why didn’t they pick up the phone to tell me before I spent $60+ to get there and back for no reason. That’s what you’re getting with these “people.” It’s not ethics or transparency.
Don’t live here!! Their maintenance is HORRIBLE I was 8 months pregnant living with mold in my apartment and NO ONE came and fixed the issue after I told them for a month straight leaving me no choice but to leave a week before having my child so they could come home into a safe environment.
First I want to say that Carmen, the Manager, is awesome. My poor review has NOTHING to do with her. In the 12 months I lived there, I had 13 maintenance calls. The apartments are old and constantly in need of repair. While the repairmen were also awesome, it took quite a while to get things fixed due to the company not allowing the maintenance men to purchase what they needed to correct the job. When the building lights went out, they were just removed instead of being repaired. The whole yard was very dark making it difficult to walk dogs at night. I tried to leave on good terms. Now the bad part. Due to illness, I was unable to spend much time cleaning the apartment. Further, my sister was wearing a boot for a broken foot, an injury she sustained at Madison. I went to Carmen and advised of this and asked that she go ahead and charge me for the cleaning. I purchased a heavy duty carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpet myself. I took pictures which showed the carpeting in good shape. I received Madison's checklist on what they spent to get the apartment ready for the next tenant. This checklist stated that my refund would be $70.00. While I thought this was a small amount, I decided not to protest it. Then, after a month of waiting for the $70.00 refund I emailed Carmen to ask where the refund was. She advised me that management had decided I owe them more money and my refund was going to be $15.00. That is why I am writing this poor review. As far as I am concerned they can shove that $15.00 where the sun does not shine. While my sister was visiting with me, we complained to the maintenance people that the ground terrain was so poor and the sidewalks were coming up with broken tiles/bricks everywhere. One night my sister was walking one of our dogs, tripped, and hurt her foot. Three weeks later a visit to a doctor revealed, after x-ray, that she broke her foot. While I should have reported this and asked the management to pay the bills, my sister said not to because I was leaving and we should just keep peace. I am so sorry that I did not hold them responsible. My employer is an attorney who stated we could still go after them, but I just want to be done with Madison. Again, let me say that this has NOTHING to do with Carmen. She is a very good manager. She is just in an impossible position. She is not going to buck her management company. My hope is that she will find employment with a reputable employer and get the hell away from these cheap bastards. Alicia F. Morris former in Apt. 1012.
I applied out of state and Judy helped make the process easier by answering my many concerns and questions. She is welcoming and easy to approach so that is a great start. The complex public areas are clean and well kept. My apartment was clean upon move in with only a couple minor issues. Tenants have covered parking. This area is a short drive away from all the stores you need. Enjoying this apartment so far!
I have lived at this place for the past 2.5 years and it is the worst apartment management that I have came across in my life. I moved to Henderson because of my school and took this apartment only because it was closer to my school and the old manager was really nice and helpful. Trouble started when the old manager left and this new manager Joe Washington came. This guy does not know how to talk and treat the customers. He is such a off person that he is unaware what is going on in the his apartments community something like who is vacating and who are new customers. There is a total lost of miscommunication between the manager and the corporate. At the time of vacating my apartment, this guy took such a long time in checking out. I missed my flight because he locked himself out. And he does not even carried office keys. Truly unprofessional. Madison apartments corporate is totally unaware of the activities going on at their premises. Because of my good relation with old manager Her name is Carmen I put apartment flyers in my school so as to get tenants but unfortunately I have to pay extra out of my pocket for the things which I I was not responsible. In my good will, I moved to the apartment that was not even ready because of one of the old couple wants to move in the apartment which I already booked. There was lack of documentation in transition between the managers When I call the corporate, no one was able to answer as they even do not know which manager is there ? They even did not tried to get back to me after calling them 15-20 times and waiting for over 2 months. Finally I have to pay the amount which I never did when the collection agency call me saying that I owe money to these people. Its my suggestion to everyone, not to move at this apartments nor even trust this corporate Pacific SD management apartments in Nevada and California. They do not know how to run and they don't care about customer satisfaction. Note - I am just an ex-tenant not affiliated to any other property management or rentals company.Bad experience over all.....
This is a great apartment. The neighborhood is safe and there are supermarkets and theater nearby. The manager Carmen is very nice and helpful. About 2 weeks ago, strong wind attacked Las Vegas and the carport got fall down. Carmen informed me timely and reminded me of moving the car soon. However I was out of the town. Then Carmen contacted the tow company and moved my car to a safe spot, so my car did not get damaged and I do not need to pay anything. I really appreciated it!
This complex is amazing! It's very quiet, and the move in process was quick and easy. We had no problem bringing our pet, and our neighbors are friendly. There is covered parking, but additional spaces. The apartments are also a wonderful size! The only thing I would ask for is a bigger gym and pool. That's the only thing stopping this place from being perfect!
Going on two year's in are apartment and life is good hear. it's clean, safe, and peaceful a good place to live. mostly in part to the new manger and the maintenance man working together as a team to keep the place clean and running smooth, they are courteous, professional, and timely on all management & maintenance problems, if you need a good place to live Madison at green Valley Apartments is the place to live. THANKS
