Greyhound is very nice and spacious; but they should consider moving their Madison, WI stop by the Chazen Museum/ Memorial Union, so that it would be more convenient for passengers to get on and off at downtown Madison. Greyhound's current Madison, WI stop is by the Arby's next to the Dutch Mill Park & Ride. That area is not very nice and very inconvenient for people to find/ get to; since it is far off from Downtown Madison. Also, the Greyhound buses are always late to this place; since it requires the bus to make an unnecessary exit from i-94 west to i-90 east/ i-39 south and on to u.s. hwy 12 west. This stop makes the Greyhound trips between Milwaukee, Madison, and Wisconsin Dells go through this redundant route twice, once to get to the Madison stop and the other to leave it. FYI, I would also like to warn people that cabs to downtown Madison can run you a good $30 to $40, so be prepared to shell out lots of money if you want a cab ride. There are also Madison city buses, but I am not sure if they run very often to this place/ are very reliable.

This is a HORRIBLE location for a bus stop. There are no local bus stops within a mile from here. I got dropped off in a blizzard once, along with another lady. The lady was in tears because she did not have a ride and If the Arby's had not been there we would have been exposed to the weather. Bus driver was rude. Surely there is another location closer to State Street or a bus stop where they can relocate. I normally take Megabus now since it drops off at UofW.

Horrendous customer service. Have spent over a month attempting to obtain a refund, and continually they make excuse about their mistakes and lack of progress on the matter. I have made 5 calls for a total of 3 hours and they will not call you back about any matter, you have to call them each time to retrieve information from them. They give you a rough estimate of when to call and furthermore each time you call you have to give them your information and it takes approximately 5 minutes to process each bit of information you give them before they ask you for the next thing.

No bus station, just benches in front of an Arby's and gas station.

This is the absolute worst transportation business of all-time! Forget the problems you've had with airplanes and Amtrak, for Greyhound leaves them all in the dust (or, in their case, the slime). The depots are filthy and staffed with ultra-rude ticket agents, the bathrooms are never cleaned and disgusting, homeless panhandlers harass the customers, the buses are always late either arriving or departing, the drivers have major attitude and will be verbally abusive and threaten to throw you off the bus for whatever reason, and the bus seats are very, very uncomfortable. Trust me, you're better off taking the train or booking a flight ahead of time rather than endure the pure hell that is Greyhound.
