MainStay Suites

If you are traveling and need an overnight stay PASS on this hotel. People live there. After getting keys we went through a different door to get to our room. Door had duct tape on it to keep it unlocked. After entering the building we were immediately hit with the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Children were playing in the hallway/stairwell. I think I was high before I got to my room. Pet friendly, but we were on the 3rd floor. Problematic when the fur baby needed to go out at 2 am. Such a shame - the rooms were not bad.

The place has a horrible smell as soon as you walk in to the front office area and the older lady at the front desk was extremely rude. My husband was living there for three months and they only have one person on the housecleaning staff, so his room wouldn't get cleaned for weeks at a time. The cleaning schedule was ignored and he'd have to practically beg her to change his bed sheets and provide him with fresh towels. The guests were threatened with having their rents raised if they didn't take their own trash out to the dumpster. They did away with the breakfast and never bothered to fix the pool. Just an incredibly filthy, rundown dive of a hotel. Don't waste your money!

The only positives about this place is the location and the girl at the front desk was nice. The room however, was the most disgusting room I had ever stayed in. Housekeeping is nonexistent at this place. There were roach traps all over the room with dead roaches in them. There was also this white powdery substance all over that I can only assume is some sort of pesticide. There was a kitchenette in the room. However we were afraid to use it. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on the wall. There was hair on the floor behind the bathroom door. I have stayed in some pretty rundown hotels but this one takes the cake. We will never stay here again.

I am highly disappointed. I have stayed in mainstays before in Cleveland and they were very nice so I decided to try this one. It was not nice at all. One of the beds was not made and the sheets and stuff were just thrown on a dresser. The floor was dirty and not vacuumed. The walls were dirty. And there were spider's, one was literally hangs from the ceiling. I will not be back to this location and am really upset I used my reward points for this. I feel like I wasted them.

It was ok. Breakfast was not offered. I understand that some guests are extended stay guests but for the guest who aren't breakfast would have been great bc after the pet deposit the rooms were still almost $100.00 Most of the washers and dryers were out of order. The were no coffee filters, dish clothes or dish soap in the kitchen upon arrival. It was a quiet stay though, comfortable and the staff all except for the woman working Saturday morning around 12am were really friendly.

Horrible place. The elevator stinks with dirty carpets. Worst of it was Dirty pillows, and bedsheets. When I asked to replace the sheets and pillows they did not have a person there to change them Immediately. Told me it will be changed whenever the cleaning person is available the next day. Molds and dirt everywhere. Pink mold on shower heads goddamm.. We booked for 6 days. Had to run away from this place on the first day. Free breakfast was a tiny takeout with a honeybun, apple juice box and granola bar. The front desk people were nice and did refund my last 5 days. This place is a nightmare. Management needs to listen to customers and fix this property and it’s business practices.

The pictures are false the hotel looks nothing like it . We found roaches in the dishwasher at 12 am . They didn’t put us in another room we had no choice but to drive 2 hours back home . Room 221 . Hotel is dirtyRooms: 1/5
