Maki Sushi & Grill

Maki Sushi is quite possibly the best sushi in the state of Colorado. I used to frequent this place every Tuesday but since moving further from Golden I cannot go here quite as often. However, the service is always very friendly and the sushi is seriously the BEST. Tons of options and I love when the sushi chefs decorate the giant boats!

Our secret little Sushi place in Golden! We travel a little and search out sushi wherever we go. This gem in our backyard is our Friday night go-to spot. The food is always fresh and prompt, the waitstaff is friendly, professional and intuitive. I'm a fan of the Alaska Roll and a large, hot saki. The owner consistently sends out complimentary desserts with the check. Gotta love it!

Been here twice, and have left disappointed both times. Staff is friendly, but owners give off the impression they don't care. If you're not familiar with Asian food, this place is okay. However, the reality is that the food is just meh, especially for what we paid, and some of it was just bad. When we received our tea and miso soup, they were lukewarm. The curry was watery, and not flavorful. The sushi was fine in that you'd get the same quality from a chain like Tokyo Joe's. I can't come to understand why this establishment has such high ratings, given that there are far better Asian food places in the area. Maybe we have caught them at bad times, but our experience was very unsatisfactory, nonetheless.

I love this place! The atmosphere is slightly strange, a little eclectic for my taste but the service is fast and friendly. The food is amazing, I recommend their Thai dishes personally.

Came back for a second visit; we had a great experi nice on the first visit but tonight's meal was even better. Amazing sushi. Had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The chef was friendly and taught us some very cool things along the way. The good and service we're top notch. This is a great neighborhood sushi gem. Will absolutely be back.
