Mall of Louisiana

Awesome mall. There is a big variety of stores. There is a good balance between low cost and high end stores. I also love that there is a lot of food and drink options as well. The only thing I would say that it is missing is an arcade. They do have a small one in one of the gaming stores but it doesnt have a lot of options. That would really help with adding more entertainment but it does have a movie theater so that's great.

Easy layout on the inside of the mall, but the outside accommodations are a bit of a jumbled mess. Parking near a store is often a nightmare. The only redeeming outside amenity is the Apple store, which is often crowded. That and Red Robin for their gourmet hamburgers. Expect a walk, but exercise is always good.

Very nice place, even when packed it's got enough room that you don't feel uncomfortable. Very clean, stores are very tidy and a huge selection of stores to choose from! Sometimes parking is sparse, try to park in the outdoor mall area if you can: provides closest parking and the turnaround rate is faster than other parking spots in my experience. Carousel in the food court is awesome & has been a staple for me since I was a kid; now my kids enjoy it themselves. (: Food court itself is great; they have a little of everything and some really interesting spots to eat-- no need to get a boring hamburger unless that's what you're craving. The Mall of Louisiana is an experience and always a fun trip.

It is a nice mall. It has two floors, each packed full of shops. The vendors are very nice, and will talk to you at length if you stay. The food court was unimpressive, since if the tables still had food crumbs and such in them, so not the cleanest. Other than that, the mall was good.

I went for my Birthday and the atmosphere and vibe of the mall is very laid back in a good way-I traveled from Metairie (outside of New Orleans) and I ate at Red Robbins and the food was delicious... I spent 5-6 hours in the mall just in the mall walking around and shopping from store to store...the employees in areopostle i had to point out was really nice and i got a good deal for some nice shirts there. If you’re not within local distance from the mall be prepared to walk a lot.
