This mall has evolved drastically over the years, pushing out retail and even a food court for those that remember, and becoming more of an office building. Manhattan Mall is not your traditional mall compared to the ones in the suburbs due to its small size and variety of stores. Due to its prime location in Midtown, it serves more as a meeting point rather than a destination to shop as there are plenty of other options in the area. However, a draw to the mall would probably be the only JC Penny location in Manhattan if you are looking for an alternative to the crowded Macy's nearby.

The Manhattan mall is in the middle of Herald Square, in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Accessible and right of the train station, with 4 floors and home to dozens of well-known retailers for almost 30 years. Beautiful environment, nice people, good prices, everything you need and a small one place. It is worth the visit.

The attractions are obvious. Big and small brand name stores for all kinds of budgets. Large crowds everywhere; vehicular traffic is huge so be mindful crossing streets as everyone is in a rush.

I love Manhattan, I worked in the city awhile ago and I loved the busy-ness. I see it as people going places and doing Important things. At night, the city lights are mouth opening gorgeous.

A clean but unneeded mall smack dab in the middle of midtown Manhattan. It makes about as much sense as putting a fleet of NY cabs in Montana. Strictly for the hick tourists. They go to malls out in whatever place they're from, so I guess this small mall makes them feel comfortable. But why come to NY to go mall shopping? It's a lousy little mall whether here or elsewhere. Tourists: go to a real street shop like Macy's, right across 34 St and the chain's main flagship store. Save the malls for Dubuque or Tucson or Boise or Tallahassee.
