I can't say I had a good experience there. My mum really liked the brand and she was trying on different styles to compare. We are serious buyers and we eventually bought one. But the staff in red was really rude at the end, basically yelling " you can't not try the shoes for too long!" We are here to buy a $1000+ pair of shoes and we think we have the right to try them on. It's not like we are causing any damages to the shoes. My mum was actually very gentle when handling the shoes. We bought the ones we want but the staff in the store I guess needs more training. It's a luxury brand and they should know the art of serving customers.
I was a bit intimidated by some bad reviews here, but when I walked in yesterday, they were very kind and helpful. If you have any questions about their shoes, don’t be shy - you should just wave at them and ask them for advise. The lady who helped me was not pushy at all, she genuinely wanted me to get a pair that would last long and get lots of wear out of. I ended up not buying anything but they were sill friendly. :
Early today I had traumatic experience in the New York location. When I asked for a pair shoes the manager perceived to throw the box at me in a very disrespectful and violent manner. This lead to me feeling very violated and attacked so I decided to leave the store even through I liked the shoes and the size was perfect. As I was exiting that same manager ran after me and verbally assaulted me. I have never ever been treated in such a horrible manner. This greatly affected my view of the company even though I have been a long time customer. I will not be returning nor will I be buying a pair shoes from this store any time soon.
I came in earlier today with my best friend to try to find shoes for my wedding. The minute we walked in, the vibe was off. No one offered to help us for the first 10 minutes - even though a few women who were white who came in after us were greeted immediately. Once we were finally approached, I was asked had I shopped with them, and if I had an account, and what was my reason for stopping in. Once my shoes were brought out they were dropped on the floor beside me, and Tracy my sales person walked away. No further help was given even though the staff was attentive with other women in the store, we were closely watched. I decided that I’ll be ordering the shoes online because I refuse to give any of the staff members commission. Before leaving I was aggressively asked for my name for what reason I don’t know and told that the shoes I tried on were the last in my size I tried on multiple pairs when I asked which one was the last size she coldly answered “both.” My advice to any women who’s skin might not match this locations “desired” tone. Take your money elsewhere.
Beautiful store. Friendly service, great location, variety of Manolo Blahniks and helpful staff. I have been a customer since 2003 and absolutely adore almost every pair. Staff always inform me of upcoming styles via email as I live in Sydney, Australia. I appreciate their customer service for always going above and beyond.
THE perfect shoe for my client’s wedding day! Not only were they comfortable but they provided her with something blue! Thank you for the design and client services.
Hello, I am a customer shopped at NYC boutique sale on Madison Ave. I have been treated discriminately by the woman manager. I like to file a complaint of this sale started this Mon. First day all hangisi are $295. Next day she decided to increase the price to $395. This is unseen at any other sales. Especially this is a final mark down. Only because she noticed a lot of ppl flooded in, she decided to increase price is RIDICULOUS. Today is 3rd day. She changed again. She decided to set a 30 mins shopping time limit and 3 pairs hangisi max/person. Even I waited more than 3 hrs and was 1st in line. She pointed at my face in front of everyone else and told me not to get in. And this is not the first time she did this to me in public! Only because I shopped the day before! I had to wait in scotching sun for another hour until everyone else inside finish shopping to get in. This is NOT FAIR AND VERY WRONG! She did this to me more than twice on different days! Not to let me in when its my turn in line. I had to wait outside because I shopped before. There are many returning customers. Why am I only one not welcomed to shop like everyone else? You dont like my money my business? She talks and behaves badly so rude like she owns this store and I am shopping at her home. Whats Manolo brand's patronage? I only bought reasonable amount which is only TWO pairs yesterday. I told her. She is playing deaf on me. Why was I treated differently than everyone else and get humiliated in public?? This is SO WRONG! Is it because I am Asian???
Somehow I missed that this was here all of this time. Amazing. This space packs so many beautiful store. The storefront is so understated I almost missed it. Superb customer service. So happy with the shoes I bought here for my wedding. Can't wait to wear them!
I just went to the store 4/8/16 because I was going to have some questions and I was hoping to get it from professionals. I have read some very positive reviews on yelp So Maybe my disappointment was due to change of those employees??? I love the brand and I have many pairs but I was not impressed by their hospitality. I work myself in hospitality in high end hotels and dealing with exclusive customers on a daily basis. Nobody greeted me when I entered the store except for the doorman/security after I said Hello... I walked around the store and nobody said a word to me. A guy associate was super busy with another customer - there were shoes all over the floor around them - he didnt even notice me and I could not even check out that shelf... there were some more associates too NOT even trying to look for eye contact etc I dont know why they were ignoring me? I was wearing sneakers since I was walking in the city all day long and I had a hand luggage with me ironically including one of my Manolos... When I was about to leave finally one of the women infact a very attractive tall "Natasha" kind approached me and asked if She can help me. I did ask my question but She was no help at all. I felt like in the Pretty woman movie...looking up and down on me with the what kind if question is that look on her face. Well I Still love the shoes and there are other sources couple blocks up and down on 5th Ave with more help and a much warmer customer service where I will continue my future shoe purchase ... And I am hoping nobody will have this experience.
My first time to NYC and a big part of the trip for me was going to Manolo Blahnik to purchase my Sex And The City blue Hangissi shoes I had been saving for. its certainly not the kind if place I shop in. this was a treat I was a bit nervous as I hadnt shopped here before but the service I received was excellent I cant remenber the sales ladies name she had very long dark straight hair but she was so so lovely and made the eperience one I wont forget.. Great experience.
