Marchese Italian Market & Cafe

A necessary step every time I drive up the coast. Super convenient location right before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, super friendly, quick, affordable, and the BEST italian ingredients and goodies. Everything on the menu has been amazing, and I wish we lived closer so I could pick up the cold cuts too! Cant say enough good things about Marchese.

Always pleased to stop in Annamaria’s store. Something special about her talking in Italian to her customers and family which makes this place unique. Love her paninis with fresh baked bread and the espressos are simply the best in town. Must stop in!

Service was very pleasant and just a relaxing environment. I was sitting at Marchese enjoying a nice cup of mint tea and a chocolate croissant getting ready for an interview and felt that the service was superb.

Awesome environment in a small and cozy restaurant. Makes you feel like you are in Europe. High quality and fresh ingredients. Also helps that Annamaria the owner is an amazing person! Mille Grazie!

It's important that Hampton roads supports businesses like Marchese market. In a time where every corner has a WaWa, and people go to Wal-Mart to buy groceries, people must appreciate special place just like Marchese market. When I came here with my two kids, i felt like we were having lunch in the owners home. You can tell She really built this market with love and passion. Places like this add flavor to our city.
