If there was a way for me to leave no stars I would. These people here are rude and careless. They don’t care about you at all. They have a high turnover rate and the caseworker Olivia doesn’t communicate at all the only time she does communicate is when it’s time to terminate your voucher that’s when you hear from her the most. They don’t do their job right then blame it on you. I wouldn’t recommend anyone that live out of state to transfer here. They don’t care how you live. They’ll place you in anything. If you want to keep your voucher please don’t transfer here. The new people they have working there only care about their pay check and protocol. Rene Sims is a blonde haired blue eyed devil. Don’t trust them with your or your family livelihood. You’ll be homeless if you do. I hope someone from that office reads this....Karma is real and when you do wrong, it comes back to hunt you so be careful how you treat people. Laugh now; Cry later.

I write this review as someone whom also works in government funded social services, albeit in another state. Compassion is lacking within this agency. Do not expect them to go out of their way to help you. It's "protocol" and procedure first, humanity and understanding second. For some reason, those concepts seem to be mutually exclusive here.
It's also a shame that someone whom has been named several times in negative reviews (some as far back as 4 years ago) still holds the same job, because my experience with her was no better. Surely somewhere out there, there is another person like me who will regularly put in 60 hour weeks (though they'll only get paid for 40), because they have a passion for helping people. These are the kind of people who should hold these jobs.

Omg, Tabitha Devoe is the worst to deal with. I see other people commenting here have run into this cluster problem named Tabitha. What a nut case!! I seriously think she needs meds. On her Facebook page, she pretends to have this big fabulous life, but she goes to work with the nastiest attitude toward the public. There is no oversight at the Marietta Housing Authority, which explains why she acts this way. She knows there is no one there that will discipline her and she's very comfortable treating folks this way. Erica is her supervisor but she has no backbone and the staff there walk all over her. When I was there once, Erica was crying because she was overwhelmed with her work and wasn't able to take a lunch break. It was a big scene---even people waiting in the lobby was talking about it. People can forward complaints directly to the OIG (Office of Inspector General) in Georgia if they are serious about their case. Yes, it will take a long time, of course, but this madness has to stop. Tabitha Devoe's monkey self better pray to Jesus that she never needs help of any kind. God doesn't like ugly.

You have to speak Tabitha Devoe's language if you want to get through to her. I was trying to move to the area some years ago and I was very friendly towards her the first time, even though she was very short and rude with me. The second visit, I made sure to show her some attitude and that's when she adjusted hers. Sad that you have to act this way towards others just so they will understand you. Suprised she is still in this position.
