While I originally thought well of Mario’s, I have come to realize how strange the place is in relation to the vibe of Portland. The atmosphere of the store well made but overpriced clothing, insecure sales associates, and a pretense energy has made me uncomfortable to shop there. There are better stores in Portland that, while do not provide such a broad scope of big labels, manage to generate a sense of warmth and affection that you do not feel at this store. Before settling on Mario’s, look around at alternatives in the area; you will not be disappointed.

What an incredible experience! I was first skeptical about buying a Canali so cheap questioning the authenticity of the suit. Took a leap of faith and wow! What a beautiful fabric! I've been looking to add a simply classy black Canali to my wardrobe and had been to most department stores that carry them. I had my eyes set on a particular model. The designers at Mario's personally assisted me and walked me through the model number ensuring I was buying the right one. When I received it, I was shocked to discover the fabric was actually softer and richer than then the Calani at Bloomingdale's! My wife who's into fashion could tell the richness of this particular Canali and couldn't believe what I paid for it! Overall, the best online experience I've ever had and Michael designer even sent me a personal follow up text confirming I was 100% pleased with the purchase. This will be my new go to spot for designer clothes at discounted prices! Totally worth it! Thank you Mario's for helping me with what has become my favorite go to black suit for all black tie events and upscale meetings! :

Compelled to write this review solely based on the unmatched level of service we received today from Mark Tomlinson. He kindly greeted us as soon as we walked in. The conversation immediately started since Mark is the type of guy you just want to talk to. He’s kind, handsome and truly knows his stuff my fiancé said it was to write that lol. He assisted my fiancé with his Creed purchase and we both walked away happy. Thank you for the experience, Mark and Marios!

I cannot say enough excellent things about Marios - their staff, selection, and service, it is all truly top notch. Harmony has been my sales associate over the past few months and is an absolute delight to work with. She has phenomenal taste, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I look forward to working with her for many years to come. I couldn't recommend Marios and their whole team more highly for any sartorial needs, from jeans to formal wear, and everything in between.

I found the perfect suit thanks to Thomas I think that was his name. I basically loved the first thing he picked out—which was fortunate because there weren’t too many options for 29” waist. He was very friendly and informative, and I actually regret not waiting until he was in again to pick up the tailored items because the person who helped me just didn’t have the same energy. Formal wear can be intimidating even for people who know how to shop for themselves, so I think making a customer feel comfortable is especially important here. On that note, the door person seemed reluctant to open the door for me the first time I came in so I just did it myself lol. Still, I will probably return to this location.

Super snooty. Full of employees who don't leave their station or say hello. Not interested in dropping coin when the service is a zero. Completely different then the Seattle location that makes an effort.

Mario’s has superb clothing and service, albeit at a price, although since merging with Mitchell stores they have a wider range of options than years ago. Always a great experience shopping there.

Absolute 5 star experience. Door guy saw me coming from like 15 yards away and knew I was coming in to their store. A guy name Michael helped me out. He guessed my correct sizes just by looking at me and confirmed by measuring. I told him what I wanted, was sized up and dressed in basically exactly what I wanted in 15 minutes. I procrastinated shopping for a wedding and they're getting alterations done in time for me. On top of the stuff I needed here, Michael asked what accessories I'd be wearing and offered style advice on all of that I desperately need this haha. They offered me drinks in store as well. Will 100% be going to Mario's for any high end men's clothing I need in the future.

Michael went above and beyond to help me with my custom suit for my wedding. He kept me updated throughout the whole process and even when he was off the clock and on a trip he was making sure I was up to date on the next steps. Amazing experience throughout and couldn't recommend it more-thanks!
