The pet shop here is horrible. You walk in and it's clustered with birds and other reptiles, they have tarantulas on the front counter and some of them are dead, and there was a dead monitor in a tank. The setups are all wrong, and the owners smoke CONSTANTLY in the shop. Very unprofessional. One of the owners got two feet from me and was telling me he'd see what he could do to get me a tarantula I like in, and was staring at me. Some animals can not be close together because it can cause lung infections (reptiles and tarantulas) for one. I am a tarantula and bearded dragon owner (keeping tarantulas for 4 years), and this shop is a disgrace. They do not care for their animals properly, have no water dishes in the tarantula tanks, wrong lighting for dragons and wrong food, and dirty fish tanks and bird cages. This place is very pricey for some animals, especially reptiles, would not recommend this pet shop to anybody, not unless you want to buy an animal with a disorder or diseases.
All other parts of the market are great. They have a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and even food trucks. They also have a great selection of bargains and little treasures, overall a good flea market, just would not recommend the pet shop.

First of all you love the produce! If you want to kill a couple of hours on a weekend maybe you'd be interested. Nowadays the dollar store has all of these items without the hassle of the crowd. It doesn't have the draw of years ago.

The place is overall a great place however upon my latest visit, I made my last.
Usually i come here and buy lunch, shop items from vendors and at the end of my journey i purchase fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables. But that has changed now as they have a rediculas and repulsive SEAFOOD STAND dead center of the produce isle !! Who's brilliant idea was to have the horrible smells of a 10 gallon seafood steamer stinking up the entire area. Nevermind the cross contaminated produce covered in moisture from this stand. I was one of 10 people complaining to produce venders about it and we all agreed, everyone should have a right to sell, including the seafood booth. However they should be Located outside with the other cooking food carts where the wind direction is more appealing for all customers and vendors.
I pray they better organize this area so i can return for my favorite produce. Till then i will save gas avoiding the nauseating smells of steamed Seafood on a hot day and a narrow corridor and hit the friendly road side vendor near me 🎪🦐🍜👈😱🤢. ⛺🥕🛒🚗😞
