Main Gate Flea Market

Like to see some vendors with real flea market items. Hard to get a good flea market find with mass produced imported items. A lot of the items are made in China, can go to any dollar plus store in any state or country & get these items. Miss the flea market in Saint Cloud, that was a real flea market, had new & used items mixed around same isles. This market was clean, few vendors acknowledged me as I was strolling around.

I thought this would be a great visit, but there were more shop owners than actual customers. It felt awkward walking around and watching all the shop keepers play on their phones and eat their bowls of soup or cup of noodles. Every shop was a copy and paste of the next in each building and every part. It was the SAME THING EVERY WHERE. If it was not Disney stuffed animals, it was Orlando Florida t-shirts. I also went because of a coupon that said: " Free Gift" there was no free gift. If you like over priced Disney merchandise, go for it.

Kind of ghetto. My brother picked up a small bag to see all the pockets the put it back in the bin he grabbed it from and the lady scolded him telling him " Don't touch, unless you buy!" We asked how are we supposed even know what it has without touching it and she kept saying Don't touch unless you buy. The restrooms were gross. There are no paper towels. There's a sign that said use air dryer. I've never seen one so disgusting. The wall was black in the pattern of its airflow beneath it.

Best flea market I've been to. They are all super nice. I reccomend checking out the Chinese section; they make small and big handcrafted paintings that are really cool and beautiful for a good price also. They also have knives and katanas if you're into that, also they have a ton of statues and other collectibles.

A nice air conditioned place to buy mainly souvenirs. There are other booths inside that are not souvenir related, but a big part is Disney based merchandise. No Universal branded merchandise inside though. Many of the booths have the exact same thing repeated over and over. The REAL gem is the Japanese store!!! Mr Seng ( hopefully that's right ) hand paints beautiful Japanese works of art and they are stunning! The entire store feels like you're walking into Japan because you are surrounded by its magnificent culture. We come back to their store every time we're in town. There is only one Japanese store here and it's cash only. Please stop by and see him and his wife. You won't be sorry you did. Their store is 5 stars!!
