Southside Flea Market

As far as the flea market goes, they have flea markets on Friday mornings and Saturday mornings and again on Wednesday afternoons after 4. The reason I bring that up is that it has tables with storage underneath, lighting, and friendly people. They can meet rain or shine and you don't even get wet. You can meet in the dark and you don't even need to bring of battery powered light. It's just a nice flea market and the thrift store that is attached, per se, has so many items that you could find something for everybody. They have new stuff, vintage stuff & antiques, and the inventory changes all the time. Super-nice people!

Not sure who posted the days and hours, but I drove over an hour to find an empty lot at noon on a Thursday (wait, there was a fruit vendor with a table). There may be a flea market there on some other day, but maybe not... If there is one, it looks like it's going to be pretty small and in an industrial area. Plenty of other good fleas around. I'd avoid this place.

Fire ants in stand area, and the boys were getting bit in the out field. Would be better if they kept up with the field.
