Marland Mansion & Estate

A must-see! One of first oil millionaires (and one-time Governor) built this spare-no-expense mansion in the early 20th century. Interesting stories abound. Best to go on the guided tour-- only 1 offered per day.

I loved my visit here! As I walked from beautiful room to beautiful room, I imagined living here. It would be like living in a fairytale! There is so much history here and the friendly and knowledgeable staff were happy to share it with you! My only complaint, and I hate even calling it that, was the lack of places to sit! This is a huge estate to walk, especially if you have health issues that make it difficult to walk for extended periods without stopping to rest. There is plenty of room inside to accommodate some seating areas here and there! There is no place to sit outside either. In spite of that, I loved my visit here and plan to go back!

Super nice mansion. Definitely opt for the tour as you get to see more rooms. Interesting story behind the original owners...

Great walking trails with lots of scenery. It's got a lot of big open spaces so it would be a great place for a picnic or to take the kids out for a walk. It's also a really cool place of you get a chance to go inside, it's free for ponca city residents but you have to pay if you're from out of town. Lots of people walk their dogs around the area or jog to workout.

Mr. Marland was a very generous employer, leader, governor and citizen, someone who is to be appreciated and admired. This home and museum are a small part of his legacy and a very interesting slice of life of the well to do of the early 20th Century. Open 7 days a week, nominal fee, beautiful walking trails, landscape and water features. Family Outings. Picnic Areas. Photo Ops.
