My father fell out of his bed and when he pushed his buzzer after 1 hour he said they came and checked on him and left him lay they would turn on the light and turn it back off to kill the alarm he would push it again they would do the same thing they said they thought he was praying please keep in mind he was screaming for help also please if you truly love your loved one. Do Not send them here. Please keep in mind on his chart it says up with assistance and they knew of this.This place is horrible we took him out immediately. He kept saying only time they check on me is when you come around.I thought it would be good since it is a skilled nursing facility. Boy was I ever wrong !!!!!

I wouldn't put my worst enemy in the care of Marmet staff. I have met a person who came from Marmet who stated that since their admission 1 month ago, they have received ONE bath. At one point, they went FOUR DAYS without any of their blood pressure or pain medications. As this person is a paralytic, they have been entirely at the mercy of the staff to clean, feed, and care for them. Their skin had weeks worth of dead skin piled on itself, their ears were filled with dirt and dead skin. This place, from my single run-in with one of their residents needs shut down to say the least. NOT A PLACE FOR OUR LOVED ONES.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as my brother has been there twice and both times ended up back in the hospital because of sepsis infection from not being cleaned. The first time he was on life support and we almost lost him. He was admitted back in icu today because his cath wasn’t changed and backed up to where it gave him a vary bad uti infection and is causing kidney issues. He has a stage four bedsore from not being turned and when he used the bathroom and wasn’t cleaned he now has another sepsis infection and talking out of his head because of it. And the head nurse barb had a bad issue with me wanting to get him medical help she said he was faking and She never could understand him. My brother had improved tremendously until he wasn’t cleaned and cared for properly. Plus it hurts terribly when you have to hear someone that’ you trusted to take care of your loved one have such an attitude just because you knew something wasn’t right with him and you wanted him to be seen for it. Twice is enough. My opinion find a place that cares.

Went up today to visit and have seen much improvement .

I was shocked that a place like this actually exists outside of bad tv movies. The whole place reeked of urine and feces,patients were left in the halls in wheelchairs screaming.
