Marshalls

It's nice to see Marshalls back in Hawaii. This Ala Moana store is located in the old Foodland by the Post Office. It's clean and organized. They have a large selection of items that are reasonably priced.

A lady cashier was so pushy with the store credit card! She said “English is not their first language” to another employee after I said “no, I don’t need it”. She was trying to find an excuse about her unsuccessful convincement. She thought I rejected her is because I can’t understand English and I’m one of the tourists who don’t speak any English. DO NOT talk about your customers especially, in front of them!!! You can have many thoughts about us but please keep them in your mind, don’t say it out of your mouth!! Finally, I hope you don’t distinguish your customers by which languages they spoken!

Nice selection of clothing and everything around the house , a little better than Ross, price reasonable and affordable, sometimes you'll find items so rare that you've got to get all they have like this German coffee as shown here. No update nothing changed as of Oktober 2022

If you want to purchase items from an upgraded Ross store, this is the place to go. Sister company of TJ Max so layout is similar.

Love the discounts at Marshalls. It does take time to find what you want. The Marshalls at Ala Moana is very neat.

The cashier asked me if I wanted to save 10% and that all I had to do was show her my ID. She actually was scanning my ID to sign me up for their credit card without telling me. I understand there is a lot of pressure from management and corporate to push credit cards but this isn’t the way to do it.

Bought a pair of shoes yesterday and she forgot to take the secuirty tag off them she even asked if I wanted the shoe box or not, I said no and she took them out the box and still managed to forget to take the secuirty tag off now I have to waste my time and go back and ask for it to get removed. Waste of time.

Me and my mom was busy moving to a new place and we ended up buying this small stationery at Marshall's. We came home and we realized that we left it at the counter! I came running back after an hour and all the staff were different. The workers were trying to help me and this beautiful manager came and said hey let me help you and she helped me get the stationary. So grateful for all the staff. Such a great experience!

Such great finds and nice staff...a must stop always!

When this store first open they had a very good selection. Now it look like it been downgraded in many merchandisers. The store look emptying and everything has been put in the rear of the store. At one time we used to be able to get Seniors discounted on one day of the week. I understand this is NOT Ross's Dress for Less. We have shop here on the island and on the mainland. We were able to get more merchandise on the mainland with our discount. We have shops at Marshall's for many years. Why it that? Why the smaller selections?
