We are very happy with Martin Tree Service. Price was very reasonable and the customer service was great. Randy did an excellent job removing a tree we nicknamed "Big Daddy" due to its size, and it was not reachable from the street so he had to reach it via their crane and a hill. He was friendly, professional and meticulous. He did an excellent job not harming understory trees and shrubs, which we did not think was going to be possible. Martin Tree Service pre-positioned to us that they would treat our property as it was their own, and we couldn't agree more.

The service provided by Martin Tree service was excellent. Jeff Martin assesed the work personally and provided a price that was reasonable for the work. He had a crew onsite a few days later. The crew was prompt courteous and pleasant. They cleaned up three large oaks and fell a 50' oak tree. The whole tree and all other trimmings were removed and miscellaneous debris was cleaned up with a rake. I'm awaiting the stump removal team who are a couple weeks behind the trimming crew but I'm sure they will be just as competent and professional as the rest of the company. Thanks!

For over 20 years Jeff Martin and I have been competitors. We often bid on the same jobs, sometimes he gets them, sometimes I get them. That’s business. Over the years I even recommended Jeff to people if I couldn’t handle a particular tree. That’s also business. Recently, Jeff and I bid on a job and I left a sealed bid with the owner’s name on the envelope at the front door. There was no identification on the envelope from my company. It was a sealed plain white envelope addressed to the property owner.
I drove around the bock to visit another property but could still clearly see the property where I left the sealed envelope. I watched Jeff drive up, take the envelope off the property, open it and photograph my bid with his phone. He stuffed the envelope in his pocket, went back to his truck to write up his own bid, which is where I confronted him, “How dare you open a letter that’s not addressed to you, you thief!” Martin said, “I’m so sorry, I was curious what was in the envelope. I’ll put it back. It’s all a mistake; I didn’t mean to take it.”
Jeff, you’re a liar. You knew very well what you were doing. You meant to take my bid, the only mistake you made was getting caught. How many other times in the past 20 years did you do the same thing? By the way, the Ephrata Police know what you did and are still watching you. Have a nice day.

This is I heard a friend say about them. "They did an excellent job pruning my tree along the drive. They used a bucket truck and did a good job making the tree even and ballanced. The last guy just had ladders and was not able to get out to the tips of the branches like Martin's was."
