Maryland Small Arms Range, Inc.

Quite a drive to get to this place but it is one of the better ranges I've been to. You are allowed to bring in your own guns and bullets and just pay for the lane and the guns for rent are also pretty good and fairly priced. Staff is pretty friendly.

Awesome staff and really nice range. The prices were comparable to other ranges that I've been to. One price and use the lane as long as you want to. The store itself is extremely well maintained, and allows you to browse at your leisure. Interestingly, it has a mini museum inside that you can wander through. This place is absolutely an A+ location for the firearm enthusiast.

Would highly recommend. Did you want to try to fire a firearm? Is it your first time? This is a great place to do so. I had no hand gun experience and was very surprised at how helpful the staff was. The staff took their time to explain safety and the proper steps to fire the 9mm I shot. Again if you are a biginer and saw this place on Groupon give it a try.

"I've been to MSAR about 5 times over the last 30 days. They need to greatly improve on customer service and enforcing range safety, especially. I've seen multiple violations on the range, yet I've never seen staff correct customers. They also need to repair the lights inside the range lanes....very dim" That was my post from about a year ago. I've recently started back at MSAR over the last few weeks. My most recent visit was today. I must say that customer service has greatly improved...fast and friendly. Yet, the lights in many if the shooting stalls/lanes remain out....just get em replaced.... SAFETY ISSUE.
