We've taken our car to Mastermind a few times now, after our old mechanic moved out of state. We were expecting our first baby and wanted to make sure our older car was up to par before he arrived. They have been incredible each time we've taken our car there since. Super friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. They even went above and beyond when doing a couple of simple things for us and helped straighten out a dent in the front of our car. We love that they are family owned and operated and that they've been very honest and helpful each time we've seen them. Definitely won't take our cars anywhere else as long as they will have us! Highly recommend giving them your business.

I was traveling from KC across Kansas when my AC started acting up. My cousin who lives in the area said she knew of a place I could take it to get looked at while in town and made me an appointment. I went and it was the best decision. Norm looked it over and reassured me that everything was fine and that the coils just froze up. He gave me some advice and didn’t charge me a cent. I appreciate his honesty, for working with us since we were from out of state and letting us wait not for very long while he looked at it. Great service from Norm at Mastermind. We were doing some exhaust repairs on my truck and he suggested moving to aftermarket performance parts which seemed to check all the boxes for what we were looking to fix. It sounded good to me and I gave him the go ahead to move forward. He called back a hour later because he had found some pretty bad reviews on the parts we were considering. It was disappointing, but glad we dodged that bullet. It saved me a lot of time and trouble and money by not going that direction. Norm also kept me in the loop as work was progressing and I got my vehicle back a day sooner than I expected which was great as we ended up needing it for 8 hour road trip that came up suddenly. I had my timing chain replaced on my 2006 Ford F150 by Norm, who thoroughly explained everything that he would do and showed me the parts afterwards. I had my transmission fluid and transfercase fluid changed and I have no problems or compaints. Owner is very nice and they had very reasonable prices. I found my new mechanic.

I have been to visit Mastermind Enterprises several times in the last 3 months. Our 1997 Mitsubishi Montero was having reliability issues. I had taken it to a smaller repair shop that had good repair prices and seemed to do good work. However, it continued to be unreliable for a number of issues. After taking it to Mastermind Enterprises the first time, I was given a detailed assessment of the issues affecting the Montero. Norm was friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me understand what repairs were done incorrectly by my previous mechanic and showed me the parts he pulled off from their repairs. He shared with me his own story of the growth of his business and how he's dealt with all of the different challenges of owning his business. After the third repair, I believe all of the other reliability issues have been resolved that were caused by the previous mechanic. I have dealt with a number of repair shops and have a very small understanding of engines, but I know enough to know when I am being "taken" by a dishonest mechanic. I don't think I have ever felt as confident in my relationship with a mechanic as I do with Norm. I waited to create this review until I felt comfortable with the reliability of the repairs.Services: Electrical
