Mediacom Communications Corporation

My experience with Mediacom in Apalachicola at the office was extremely pleasant. The Technician that came to the condo was very nice and helpful.

Called mediacom and the soonest they could come out was on the weekend so I changed all my plans and accepted the appointment. Then two hours into the appointment time window mediacom canceled the appointment. So my weekend is blown and my mediacom problem continues. Pathetic! The real problem is that it's very difficult and inefficient to deal with liars. I try to cut people and businesses some slack but this is at least the 8th time with mediacom and my patience is long gone.

Mediacom promised me a good "deal" to get my business then reneged on that promise. They now arbitrarily charge me extra fees every month in addition to not giving me the discount they promised. Avoid mediacom at all cost. It's NOT cheaper no matter what they say and they will say anything to get your business.

We went to Mediacom offices in Apalachicola, FL to switch out the modem for my parents, which was 5 years old, to replace it with an updated version. The woman who worked there tried to give us the exact same version, claiming it was new. If my husband, who is proficient in technology, hadn't been there to help my parents, they would have been taken advantage of. She couldn't even answer basic questions about the latest technology regarding this product. If you work for a company you should KNOW YOUR PRODUCT!!!
