Their fried pork chops are stellar. Along with other meals, chicken fingers, red beans and rice, dirty rice... And the Tea is full of flavor and is from a local vendor (W. Monroe).
Excellent service and atmosphere. I will continue to eat here, it is that good.

This is my go-to place for seafood and chicken that reminds me of my childhood days in Louisiana. The cooks know what they're doing, and the food has never been overcooked. My tastes are for a touch more salt, but that means that people that want great food with lower sodium are in for a serious treat. If you drive past this place without stopping, you are doing your taste buds a disservice. I take many trips between my home in TX, and Mississippi, and I never miss a chance to stop if I'm driving through during open hours. I've been a customer since the last location at 594 & 80.
