Meridian Psychotherapy

The front desk is rude and disrespectful. There is no shortage of mental health professionals in the Hampton Roads and my partner and I have taken our business elsewhere just so we never have to deal with Shay and Jennifer. The owners and therapists should really consider who they hire since every single person that walk through the door or call are generally in a fragile state and struggling. These ladies represent this business and are the first face we see or voice we hear—and at a mental health facility at that! What a shame that they represent a facility that’s dedicated to helping others heal so unbelievably poorly. We have since found a different facility where every single staff member treats patients and families with compassion and respect.

I have been going to this facility for over 10 years and have enjoyed everyone I have had the pleasure to work with. The late Dr. Hallman was an amazing man and helped me tremendously. Saulo Ortiz is another wonderful provider. He has way and aura about him that just makes you like him. He pushes you to do better and believes in you. I could go on and name a lot of other people who have had a very big impact in my life. I have not had a negative experience with anyone there and highly recommend them.

Meridian has been my go to since 1991 for being my best self ! Everyone is always kind, helpful, and caring. They offer everything for mental health! I have sent many people their way, and they have always helped in a timely manner. Being in this field myself, and having experienced other facilities, they by far have the most amazing work ethic, as well as empathy. Shout out to Allyson, office manager, and Dr Bohan, now retired, as well as the late Dr Hallman. They have created the best services for all emotional well being. All of the current staff as well.Thanks for all you do!

Great therapists at Meridian Psychotherapy Services. Regina Carroll has been an incredible support to me through the grief of losing several family members. The office staff is always helpful and friendly. The office is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I have recommended this practice to several people and will continue to do so.

I've been attending Meridian Psychotherapy since 2009. Dr. Hallman is the kindest, most professional doctor I've ever had. Alicia Rose is also a wonderful Nurse Practioner there. I attend Meridian Psychotherapy for my mental health and substance abuse I've been clean for 8 years with their help.

If i could put no stars i would. When i first became a patient i did enjoy the clinic. I did not enjoy that the doctor i had would talk down to me and judge me for my addiction. When i would be honest and open up i would still be looked at like a lair and just another addict. I was let go from the practice suddenly without violating any rules. My psychiatrist also dropped me suddenly which hurt because i opened up to him fully which has always been hard for me to do. After so many sessions with him, he didnt even have enough care to contact me and talk to me, he pretty much just dropped me and threw me to the streets. My recovery means everything to me but how merdian treated me before my depature was very unkind, cold and dismissive. I would suggest they care more for people who are in recover and not throw people to the streets without any assistance. Recover is very difficult and how they treat patients when there done with them would make an addict relapse in a second and they wouldnt care a bit. Please research other options before picking merdian.
