I lived at Mesa Verde for 5 years. The building is older, so there was a lot of maintenance issue but for the most part things were fixed pretty quick or replaced with no problem. The property manager Allison was always pleasant and she did a great job with keeping up with the complex.
There’s obstacles in any apartment complex to deal with. But hands down any issues my wife and I have are taken care of quickly. This is our 2nd year here, and we’re very thankful. It’s a wonderful layout. They even handed out Pies for thanksgiving this year for the resident’s. They were huge to boot!!! Thank you to Allison and the rest of the staff for making this a place to call home.
New update from my last post. Apartment is not worth moving to for many reasons. Everything is always breaking down and they raised the rent. I've called for carpet cleanings and nobody shows, I recently called for service to the kitchen sink and once again nobody show. Office management claims their works are working on other places, yet I see them sitting in their carts on the side of building. Im moving out as well as others I know in the complex. Not a place you want to be. Two days with no kitchen sink and a bad smell my kids have to live with. Zero stars if I could.
There have been trucks parked out the side of are apartments we have been dealing with since we moved in there generators run constantly I have pictures of most recent today it really hard to sleep at night
We have lived here for about two months and love it. The apartments and grounds are very well kept and the apartments are modern and updated. Maintenance is great! My wife sent a request this morning to have the dryer looked at as it was not working and said someone was there within N hour and had the dryer fixed. The manager Allison is great and we believe it S because her the property is so wonderful. It's clean as well quiet which you don't find much in an apartment. You are close to the airport so you hear the planes here and there but there's not a lot of screaming and hollering or kids running wild. So glad we chose to move here!
The grounds are beautiful. If you are a photographer go take pics in the fall. The black streetlights provide an eerie glow to the fall leaves. That said, We lived here for a year. Terrible sewer problems. The master bathroom smelled like rotton eggs the first six months. No water pressure in the shower. Like standing under a squirt gun. Little closet space. Pool is beautiful. Management bought new furniture and picnic tables. Sometimes its closed , lots of repairs. Airplane noise is HUGE. I love airplanes so it was great. I paid my rent on time every month. Great tenant. Never a problem. Fixed most problems ourselves. When lease was up after our year, management told us it was mandatory to take cable in our contract and wanted to raise our rent 200. I dont know what kind of a kickback she was getting but the rent estimate she gave me, after I questioned it, she quickly retrieved it and destroyed it. We already had cox. Is it legal to require tenants to buy a product or leave? Huge disparity in rents. One woman was paying 300 less than I was. Be careful. If she sees you coming, she managercall the shots on how much you pay. Pretty crazy year. Still I miss the beauty of the grounds.
I wish I could give them Zero stars because the property manager at the front is extremely rude. She did not introduce herself when I arrived. Then I politely asked her if there were any models available and she said the Apartments are 1100 is that in my budget repeatedly! To the point were I felt like she was racially profiling me. I had already researched the place and I was comfortable with the price but she felt the need to wake me three times. I told her that's fine may I see a model. Then she persisted in finding out if I could afford the apartment. As a veteran of this country I am very saddened that her customer service skills were so subpar. I just wanted to see the model and she was very unprofessional. If you are a person of color do not attempt to go here they will pester you before you even get a chance to say your name. Beware...
I live there for almost 5 yrs. the office manager is very caring and she has always help us out. the only thing I don't like is I wish the owner would stop raising the rent every year. I don't want to have to move out but I cant afford paying $1000.00 rent.. I started paying $850.00 now almost over a $1000.00. I am going to have to move and found somewhere where I can afford..
I love living here. It's very quiet and clean. My only problem with this place is that I pay almost $1000 a month and the complex is ALWAYS having problems. Either we're calling maintenance to fix something they always do in a timely manner, the pool is broke, the pipes are leaking, there's construction, ect. Ive been here 2 years and there's just always something wrong.
I live here for over a year march 2018 until now and Allison the apt Manager has all ways been good to us understanding and down to earth the Neighbors are Friendly good maintenance staff they keep he place in good shape.
