Doug worked with me on a custom quote and I was very impressed by his patience and attention to detail! He took the time to triple check the entire order, catching things that I had missed initially. Great customer service and reasonable pricing!

I see a lot of bad reviews soo I am going to avoid this place. Can anyone direct me to a BETTER place to buy metal at? All I'm looking for is about 2 15" quatar in thick rectangular tubing, 2x4 in diameter.

Wow I just had another terrible experience at this business. I'm really not sure what's going on there but they're definitely not in the business of customer service. So I thought I would check and see what their reviews have been. Obviously if you look through them hey are known for poor customer service and what's even worse they don't seem to care. If you're a homeowner and you're hoping to buy metal here it comes in 22 24in 24ft sticks and they don't have any services for cutting it they won't even let you use their electricity if you want to cut it. They seem to be short-handed because I couldn't get my order. It's clearly not managed very well not with the number of bad reviews. Out of the three times I've dealt with them two of them have been very negative. It's too bad because I want to buy their product but they kind of make that impossible. They seem to be more directed to a certain clientele which usually isn't homeowners. My recommendation is avoid this place at all costs.

I had a quick response for a carport quote after looking and requesting one online. Doug Ocheltree was very informative and happy to answer any question. I am please with the customer service I was given.

I spoke with 4 individuals from this location and all but one hence 2 stars instead of 1 of them had no people skills. They were rude on the phone, hasty in conversation, and were not willing to help me out. I was looking to make a fairly substantial purchase but I will never give my money to this place. Also, what kind of metal supplier are you, if you cannot cut metal? Haha

I don't know what has happened to Metal Mart. I've bought thousands of dollars of product over the years and have been a loyal customer until about the last year. New counter staff isn't friendly or knowledgeable. I can't get phone calls returned and they don't stock even half of what they used to. Very disappointing. I see lots of complaints here but I don't see any changes.

I am very frustrated with this place, and with the engineers who service them. I am an Architect and have been waiting 5 months for a diagram and cost estimate for a Carport, after all this time the engineers have said they can't do a simple cantilever of and eave beam which I have seen many times done. I have no recourse and not able to talk directly with the engineers, hell the metal mart can hardly converse with the engineers! Don't waste your time!

I have called several times trying to purchase metal for my roof, garage, and shed to no avail. The female that answers the phone is extremely rude and I cannot get past her to purchase what I need. She hangs up on me every time. I drove over there from Grants yesterday to purchase what I need and the front showroom is closed due to the pandemic. There is a phone number to call so I called it and talked to her and again I was hung up on and sent away. I was looking to spend about $7,500.00 on materials, but I will look elsewhere to get what I need. I have purchased new roofing materials for many people there in the past and have never had a problem getting what I need. You have lost a loyal customer.

I'm not sure who the other reviewers spoke to, but when I called, the staff was very helpful, took my order over the phone and had my custom length roof panels ready to pick up that same day. The price was well under the "big" home improvement stores in town and quality seems as good or better. It was more of a drive from my house, but well worth it to get what I needed and save some money as well.
