I have been coming to Method.Hair for about 2 years now. Every single time, I am greeted with a smile and offered a beverage. Crystal S. has been the only person cutting my hair, and she does exceptional work. I can see it in the mirror that she does pay close attention to each section. It's nice to see the attention to detail. The added bonus is the hot towel treatment, the shampooing, with the included massage, making the price more than worth it.

Completely outstanding. Got my hair cut by Ashley Tucker and she did a PHENOMENAL precision cut and cleaned up my bob/disconnected undercut. She was meticulous and I am so happy to have found my new stylist home. The ambience is perfect, and Ashley was so incredibly great and she is brilliant.

Yesterday I saw Sophia for the first time for a rather dramatic cut. I went from medium/long hair to a short pixie cut. Of course I had nerves, but she exudes confidence and that helped me relax. She did not rush and went slowly, taking it but by bit until we got to a length (or rather lack of length) I was thrilled with. Throughout my cut she also took the time to educate me on the products she was using on my hair and sent me home with generous samples. The atmosphere of the salon overall is laid back, but still luxurious. Complimentary beverages are offered and parking is very easy. I highly recommend Sophia and I must give a recommendation for Jen Rische who has cut my hair before as well and is now at Method. She’s a hair Jedi! They are true artists and worth every red cent (and a nice tip!) and the 30 minute drive from north Austin :D

EDIT/UPDATE: I contacted the salon, and Sarah the owner immediately offered to fix the color. She is absolutely amazing, and she stayed super late to squeeze my appointment in. After redoing the toner my hair is SO much better. Definitely on track to achieve my hair goals. My friends have been raving about Method hair for years, and they have fantastic reviews and ratings online, so I thought I'd give them a try. I've always wanted to try platinum blonde, so I went in with my inspiration photos to be sure they knew what I wanted. My stylist told me it may damage my hair to go all they way to that level of blonde on the first try, but we could get pretty close. Fair enough, I expected as much. So we set out doing balayage. My stylist was really nice, and I was impressed we were on schedule despite my long thick hair. Everything was looking pretty promising, until the toner. After she blow dried it, I told her I thought it looked kind of pink. She agreed, and said she had no idea why that had happened. I told her that this was not the look I was hoping for, or that I had asked for, but I paid and left. I thought maybe the pink/red color was in my head until people started complementing my on my new strawberry blonde hair, which would be great, if that was remotely what I had asked for. I'm further away from my inspiration photo now then I was when I started. Really disappointing visit for such an expensive and highly rated salon.

My favorite favorite favorite place! They use nonparaben products and the wash and scalp massage is a stunner. Sarah and Amanda have the best well rounded, knowledgable, and talented stylists for people of all hairstyles.
