Metro

Thank you for finding and returning a very valuable item of mine! The bus driver heard about my losing the item and drove me to their office, and a Metro staff came out and gave me back what I lost. What an honest and customer-focused attitude!

Portland metro drivers are completely unsafe, road hogging, downright bullies on the road. Yeah sure they offer a timely transport about half of the time, but at the expense of everyone else's safety on the road. This transportation system needs to seriously be overhauled and the drivers need to be closely monitored. I almost got run over by a bus today let alone the multiple other instances in which I've witnessed them nearly if not definitely causing accidents. Don't take the metro!

The bus drivers themselves seem kind, but in the half-dozen or so bus rides I've taken since moving to Portland I have yet to have a good bus trip. The buses themselves lack a digital banner that states what the next stop is. Hello! How are we supposed to know when to request getting off if we are not informed by sight or sound what the next stop is!?! Add to that how the layout for the buses is terrible and they often leave early from stops--which is worse than leaving late--so you never know what the schedule will be like. Sigh... they mean well, but Portland obviously doesn't know what a real city has to do in order to have a mature bus system.
